If that is truly how you feel, then I'm assuming you all will not be wrestling in high school. Kids get moved around ALL of the time for individual match-ups and team match-ups at that level. To be honest, if you look around, most of your more successful middle school programs move kids around for the betterment of the team in certain match-ups. Contrary to belief- wrestling is a TEAM sport. Wait until your kid gets bumped to another weight because a better wrestler on his own team switches to his weight. Are you just gonna quit? No- you make the most of it and wrestle your butt off! :-)

I stand corrected Bryan Station just upset Harrison by 1 point sending Henry Clay into the semi's vs Franklin.

Semi finals- Woodford vs Lafayette Franklin vs Harrison

I'm guessing Woodford- 1st Lafayette - 2nd Franklin - 3rd Henry Clay - 4th I'd have Franklin at second if Josh Lopez were wrestling.

Couple of notes from Tates Creek that I remember off the top of my head: -Piña (Frank Co) wrestled at 152 -Mosher (Mad Cen) beat Fooks (Boub Co) in the Finals at 170 -Bucerzan (Frank Co) beat Jackubec (Mad Cen) for third place at 182

Just curious- does anyone know why Tates Creeks 160# Craven didn't compete this weekend?

Actually- Madison Central took third. During the tournament they had Madison Central and McCreary County both listed as MC on the bout sheets for half the day and it didn't get straightened out until after the tournament ended.

When are they expecting him to be back?

He was at the Lafeyette tournament last week in street clothes, but I didn't get a chance to talk to him. I don't know the reason and i won't speculate either. If someone from Franklin County wants to enlighten everyone? I hate that he's not wrestling currently because he definetly makes the region much stronger.

Very impressive. I think you've done a very thorough job. I think most everything I've seen this year falls pretty much right in line from top to bottom with what you've got. A few could go either way up or down a spot depending on the week, but all in all a GREAT job!

Jarvis looked real good, However, it is my understanding that this was Stouts first action of the season. He's been out due to a hip injury I believe is what I was told. Not that it changes the results but could explain some of the lopsidedness.

Great match in the second round today between Tevon Clay (Franklin County) and TW Stockton (Anderson County). Back and forth match with Clay up 2 with less than a minute left when Stockton went for a throw and just missed it and ended up on his back. Where Clay was able to close out the match by 5 I think it was. Great match to watch!

I haven't seen Morris wrestle this season yet, but I thought he was a bit underrated even last year. He seemed to be a hard nosed wrestler.
