Definitely not a surprise to see Deprest in the hunt. Should be a fun year and a half from here on out between he and Kulmer. A side note - I really, really don’t understand the logic of Male choosing to host a tournament on the same day of one of the most established and well ran tournaments of the year, that is just a stone throw away. Makes no sense to me to pull teams away instead of just picking another date. I’m sure it must be logistics or something, but I find it hard to believe that there would be no other dates available to them.

2 things 1. Very tough situation for those doing the rankings at 195 with Kulmer losing to previously unranked Deprest. Kid goes from unranked to 3rd in state in 9 days. With that being said Kulmer is proven as well. Very very tough indeed. 2. Does anyone know if John Hardin or Male will be at Dragon Invitational? Unsure what else they would be doing on that day?

Just to brag a little - 2014’s middle school 121 LB weight class could end up with 3 state champs in consecutive weights 160 - Max Powell 170 - Cameron Ward 182 - Dylan Gray And a 4th with Tyler Storck at 120 who hasn’t grown since 8th grade lol.

I have always told my young wrestlers; there is no off season. The ones that have taken it to heart and continuously seeked out difficult competition year round have been successful, and the others have not.

Just looking through the Raider Rumble trackwrestling event and noticed Tylan Tucker is listed on there as being 3-3? Surely this must be erroneous or did I miss something huge?

I would have to agree there. Great job by everyone who contributes to the rankings and reports.

I really don't understand people pushing for the post tournament report, the more that I think about it. Like the tournament is already over, it reported itself. His predictions are right there, and we can all draw the lines ourselves. But I guess by the same notion, Ranger and Dutch are trusted voices of wisdom in our community.

Such a joke. You would think that those in charge would do everything possible to pull region 3 out of the depths it has sunk too. Such as listing the tournament on track as being wrestled today and tomorrow, only for some (me) to drive an hour away to find out that it is only being wrestled on Saturday. Jesus Christ
