West Virginia Army National Guard Duals Wrestling Tournament ‘High School Tournament Only in 2014’ Date: January 10-11, 2014 (Friday-Saturday) Weigh-ins: Friday, 10:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. Saturday, 8:00 a.m.-9:00a.m. Weigh in sheets will be distributed on Friday only for all 30 teams. Wrestling: Begins Friday at 12:00 p.m. and Saturday at 10:00 a.m. and will be held on seven mats. Junior Varsity: We will place as many extras as possible into the tournament at no additional cost. Format: 30 High School Team Duals Tournament (Wrestling on Friday and Saturday)-(5 matches Friday)(4 matches on Saturday) Wrestling Friday will consist of five-six team pools in a round robin on Friday and six-five team pools on Saturday. The 5 pool winners will make up the championship pool on day 2, 2nd place teams will make up pool 2 etc. Where: Summersville Arena & Conference Center (3 Armory Way, Summersville, WV 26651) (across from Summersville Wal Mart on I-19) Trophies: Top 10 team trophies and trophies for the pool champions on day 2. A most valuable wrestler from each team will be chosen. We will vote on outstanding tournament official also. All 9-0 wrestlers will receive a special award too. Teams from West Virginia, Ohio, Virginia, North Carolina and Kentucky will compete. Weigh-ins: Saturday, 8:00-9:00.
