I don't know if it makes a difference, since it was last year, but Spencer Warren (160) beat Josh Bruning last year at the lafayette tournament 8-3 and Jeff thomson only beat him 3-2. I geuss we'll see this weekend though if north is going to the Big East.

Yea, Menard beat Lofton Wright at WCI. I watched the match, but, Lofton looked extremely out of shape, i think, because he didn't start coming to practice until a couple of days before the tournament. And, i think if Menard and Wright meet up again when Wright is able to go a full 6 minutes then the result might be a little different. -
that was a good match

South oldham's 103 lber's name is Nathaniel Long. also, Roy Bisenius (119) beat Daniel Brenneman at WCI, im pretty sure

Kyle Knight is our (South Oldham) 171 lber and he beat Taylor Menard 5-3 at Region Duals -
I guess to be good at the 171 lb. Weight class in this region your name pretty much needs to be Kyle....
-
this tournament is done weird each weight class is divided up into 4 pools of 4. They seed the top 4 people and put them into different pools. Each pool wrestles round robin and the number one guy in each pool is put into a 4 man bracket to decide 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th. The 2nd best guy from each pool is put into a four man bracket to decide 5th, 6th, 7th, and 8th. If you're not the 1st or second guy in your pool then you're out of the tournament.

I was at Seneca Yesterday and i talked to some of the people and they said Lofton Wright wasn't wrestling this year. But you never know, he might change his mind... I got alot of things for South Oldham too.. Forrest Williams (HWT) pinned Cody Hall last night, he also pinned Greg Billiows twice at the scrimmage a week or so ago Spencer Warren (160)beat Bernard Ray last year at Ryle (He didn't stop talking about it all summer) and since he has never wrestled Preston Shoopman, and since Lofton might not be wrestling.... I'm biased... but i think he should be ranked higher... Cole Proctor (152) is going 145 Stephen Vaughn is planning on going 135, Brandon Whitehouse (135) is going 130. and yea.. thats it -

I believe the criteria for being 17th in the state is being better than the guy whos ranked 18th... and good luck with that Danger -
I wouldn't quite say perfect... think Brad Hitchings, Ryan Kelly and Ichiro chiba. Both of them will definately place yes, but they're gonna have to fight for that state title

Fiser wasn't aware of this when it was happening. If you don't know about it you can't do anything. He told the whole team he was dissapointed that we didn't tell him about it so he could deal with it before it got out of hand. In no way did he ever "ostracize" or embarass Hunter, he wanted Hunter to win just like every other wrestler any coach has ever coached.

Congratz dude, Seriously. USMC is the way to go.
