The 171 from Ryle is Court Mace. He wrestled JJ all of about 25 seconds in the state tournament last year until JJ dropped him on his head in what might have been a slam. The refs didn't let him continue that match which was probably a good thimg

The main contenders seem to be Faust, Bryant, Ruschell, and Boone. Do we want to do a survay on we think will win? Is anyone willing to wager anything on their pick? :-D

Ryle goes to a large Ohio tournament that weekend. There has been deate a few years now about trying to change the date. Simon Kenton also went to this tournament and sent their JV to the conferance

The bottom line is to win this thing you have to beat the other teams anyway. You can't seed your way to 1st place

This is getting silly. We are trying to narrow the field "split big school/small school" "exclude the private schools" as a justification to make it easier to win championships. In my opinion the competition level in Kentucky is already pretty low. If we make it any easier, why not just give a medal to everybody and we can all be state champs

This has been a big topic in the past and most opinions are pretty set. Bottom line with only 100 or so teams that even wrestle (and not even all of them are full) it seems ridiculous to talk about subdividing even more!

I think Ryle has a chance to be first
