It's good to see Boone Co. improving. They were a power back in the day and it would be nice to see them back as a regional contender.
-
I would put stephan in over jones at 152 north from ryle the 4th at 120 (Castalano going 126) Meimen the 3rd at 145

The gist of the arguement against seeding has several points. Too many schools with too many kids without common opponants. Too many coaches to have an actual "live" meeting The ranking system in this state is done by one person and while he does a god job is somewhat subjective

go into the older posts to see this topic It's been discusssed to death in the past. Bottom line there is no practical way to do it
-
It would be stupid to not seed them. The whole point of seeding is to seperate the top athletes. If they ignore the Myers they could draw in anywhere and possilbly knock another top seed into the consos in the first round

Are we creeping towards splitting the regualar state tounament into two or more divisions again? I sure hope not! -
And how many ttimes has Sean beat TJ?

Someone will win!!!!

I believe that's a pretty good testiment to a new coach who took a lot of fire earlier this year. Now all they need to do is crank up their youth program, strengthen their schedule.....................

It's still a great win for a new program like Grant Co. How many wrestlers do they have now?
-
Is it true Grant Co beat Watlon Verona? Did the brothers return?

2011 GMVWA Holiday Tournament - Campbell Cty, Ryle Simon Kenton

Motorrocket I agree with the depth comment. I would also say St. Eds is sort of in a three way tie with Apple Valley and Blair Academy. Those three are far above the rest. -

Well Tim Reynolds as another old Ohio guy I agree with everything you said about the depth and strength about Ohio wrestling. I will also say that Cleveland has the best high school wrestling in the country by far. That being said Ryle was the co champion for big school in the GMVWA last year wtih Centerville. (Ryle is going to the Cleveland area in January for a duel torunament. I think it will be educational). -
That's even better. Have a Merry Christmas!
-
Coach G, can you do Dave Barnes?
-
Speaking of class, how about Campbell Co. wrestlers &coaches snickering when Ryle sent a girl out to wrestle
-
Ryle is hoping to have Maines (220) and Meiman (160) back they only took 11 to the SWOWCA
-
Time to stir the pot! Which Northern Kentucky team places highest?
-
It's a nice tough tournament which is in all honesty, probably tougher then the Kentucky State Tournament. And he best part is part two is next week at the GMVWA (Dayton Holiday Tournament) with around 40 teams. Simon Kenton, Ryle and Campbell County will be there!
-
As far as Ryle/Campbell Co. goes it should get done again in the duels. It's safe to assume that some kids from both teams will be down to different wetght classes., injuries will be healed, the ones on "academic vacation" will be back ect. Who knoows how it will go then. Ryle at SWOWCA this weekend and Dayton Holiday next week

Raider wrestling results are also on this website under High school results!

Latest from Ohio Glen Este may be very good this year
-
Wide open tournament but I would watch out for Harrison Ohio. Very tough Cincinnati team coached by Chad Dennis. They have big numbers in their youth, middle and high school programs
