probably one of the best matches of the day was the mat sloan Alex Murphy match. very tight with Murphy leading 2-1 with about 30 sec left. Sloan did a good job rolling through a double leg shot by Murphy to hit a 5 point move with about 15sec left to win 6-2.

from John Hardin I would watch for wade holtzclaw and alex murphy.

very heavy sr. loaded class year. Only Johnson, Murphy, whitehouse, Luna , Norberry Hedges of the top 15 are coming back. It would appear to be a much weaker weight class.

It also goes to show the depth and quality of the 112's in region 2. I don't think he has beaten any of the top 4 in region 2 but is able to step out of region and beat a very good kid. this also should put the other 112's on notice that they need to bring their a game.

We all can play the what ifs. Below is also a situation if John Hardin had there starting lineup. All true but John forfeited 160 which cost them 6 points. there is a very good chance he would have won this match. if so, this would have made it 33-32 John. also john was wrestling a jv at 119 which added another 6 points to ryle. at worst he would have only given up 3 points which would have made it 33-29 John. If john's 119 won then it is 36-26 John. In reality, its fun to say what ifs but we will only know for sure Saturday night.

I'll take a team of these 7th and 8th graders and in 2 years with a few to be named later will win the state 2 and probably 3 times. wade holtsclaw, nick paden,Luke troxel , Kevin cooper, Alex Murphy,JJ Jude,Bernard Ray, Drew Newberry, Brent hitchings and John Fahy.

Do what always gets a politicans attention- let them know votes are at stake. If school board members feel they will loosed enough votes over this issue they will come around to your side.

ranger, the only way I see ranking the 11,12,13, and 14 spots at 112 is to put them in a hat and pull them out. If I'm correct Terry has beaten Aghil who has beaten Murphy. Murphy has beaten Terry. Thompson has beaten Murphy and Terry. Murphy has beaten Thompson. How do you make sense out of this mess.
