That maybe true he did technically win a state title but you need to give him some lessons in sportsmanship there matrat. He did it very poorly and cheated to get where he was.

Fahy is an amazing wrestler but the finals was kinda boring. Durbin had no right to even be under those lights. He was crying about his shoulder and you goes out there in the Semi and comes out in the finals moving like a 52 pounder. He is the ultimate worst state champion ever. Im not a fan of Hollen but he should have been there.

Adam Brown is unlikely wrestling this weekend so i don't really think heavyweight is going to be that stacked this weekend.

I think this year will be an overall great year to watch heavyweight medal rounds and to see where everyone ends up. Without a doubt all of the top 5 have a good shot at state.

I think Coach Pitcher will handle it over there North. Things like that wont last long.

This is just my opinion and I know everyone has their own, but I have been around the wrestling world a long time and I don't think I have ever seen high school heavyweights move like Harlow and Frost did in the WCI finals. There was constant action and movement through out the match. I would have to agree with Ranger that those are the guys to beat.

Well folks of Region 2 this is it what we all have been waiting for, the do or die stage of the season. Everything up to this point in time has been practice but now we are all playing for keeps. Some of the big things I have been hearing is the 145 weight class which is up for grabs to anyone who wants it, same thing with the 125 weight class also. Another big thing I have also been hearing is Larue and John Hardin who will come out on top this year, who is the top dog of Region 2. In my opinion I think it will come down to the last couple of matches from what the numbers I have been predicting. No just my predictions, I know they might look close to the same as the seeding. On a personal note I thought the seedings are pretty good this year. It should be competive region this year.

I hopefully will get some region prediction out here very soon. i think this year it will be a very competative region tourney.

I like Chiba but I know Ryan Kelly will take it all.

There is only been a handful of HWT's that I have seen take a shot this season and Harlow has a very nice shot. I think if more HWT's shot they would have more success.

Nope, not that I know of. Most rankings don't have any bearing on seeding. Seeding is set by stats mostly and other little things. I was a little surprised that Chris Pitcher went up to 189lb.

I believe everyone is basically where they will be for regions, of coarse there are always little changes. There are still a few people I'm not completely sure of but I'm sure someone will tell me. First off I believe we have had this conversation before but hey I don't for sure remember. But Woodford coaches try very hard at the WCI for there wrestles to get setup in good brackets so that they may score well and place good. I also believe this is the way in most tournaments and whoever is hosting them. Just my opinion. Now what I'm seeing is that the majority of wrestlers that John Hardin has, has the potential to place. That's the only reason I can see why Ranger would still have them up as high as they are.
