Theres never going to be a perfect way to do this... Think of governments, someones always going to do something wrong and theres always going to be that one person who doesn't agree. I read a while ago about some idea of having guys weigh in before they wrestled each match but that wouldn't work at all because kids would possibly miss weight and that would be chaos... Weighing in at 119 then 130 wouldn't be fun at all...
-
Hmm. Well you might be able to do that so your rankings are dead accurate.... Maybe bump some kids up to the next weight class so you can guarantee your top 8 predictions at each weight?
-
And to prevent further... favoritism? The person issuing the test would be from a different region or better yet not affiliated with Kentucky High School Wrestling in any way.

Richardson and Bisenius Wrestled all 3 times NO and SO met. Connor, Bisenius by fall, Regional Duals Bisenius by fall again, and Regionals where it was for 5th and 6th place, Bisenius by Deciscion I think it was 8-2 or 8-4
-
Another thing is at 119 Rusch beat Bisenius at the Scrimmage earlier this season. I think it was by pinfall, but i'm not positive.
-
another is "it'll make you strong" this summer i'd be saying that about anything. if we're getting crushed by heavier guys or something "Good! it makes ya stronggg"

yeah i've used one of the things you just squeeze and it said im 17.8% (more like 7.8% or mayb 8.8) we use the caliper for ours... just weigh, pinch 3 areas and we're all good, theyre the most accurate without paying a ton of money. Eaglewrestler12- He's not having a whole lot of trouble getting down to 140 but if he tried to go lower i dont know how safe it would be. and i agree with you, Dinubus, he would destroy at 135 but at 140 he still has a good chance. I can see him winning it, but he definitely will have a very challenging road ahead.
-
I'm not too sure if Dan Thomson will be able to go 135...

Let's hear it... At the OC superduals i saw a heavyweight do an amazing grandby. it was impressive.

That was a very good match. Rusch is a very talented wrestler, he's going to be a beast his senior year seeing how he's only a freshman. Lenz is my pick for state champ at 112 this year. -
He's a good wrestler. Last year he was jv behind Martorana at 145 and Jeff Thomson at 152 so he didn't have many options.
-
Okay... Danger: Thanks hah, that was from last season in a thread talking about the least favorite drills. I seriously laughed so hard I cried
-
He definitely is. I went to a summer tournament at Fern Creek (it was more like March but still) and he was looking impressive. Kyle Terry took 1st, Kaelin 2nd, and I took 3rd.
-
I'll do it haha.
-
Okay, if you win state, I will take back what I said and say that I was wrong.
-
I'm guessing you started this thread just to fish for compliments, start arguments, and brag? Chiba clearly was the better wrestler, he placed 3rd. He proves further proves that because he isn't on kentuckywrestling.com bragging.
-
whaaaat? that is ridiculous. i'm guessing he was an in shape heavy weight, not one of the uh... pleasantly plump ones?
-
When they get their big dogs it wont be pretty for any teams that face them. I wouldn't be too suprised if they won state duals this year.
-
Did you stay for the championship match? I read in the paper it was 34 to 33, I can't imagine how exciting that was. We wrestled Franklin County and tied it up and it went into Criteria F? I guess it goes down to which team scored the first points in each match..
-
Cameron Broussard. It was a good match.

Today at the South Oldham scrimmage Logan Stuerle (NO 152) beat Cole Proctor. Jeff Thomson is going 160 and Kyle Forbes is going 171 -
I'm going with 119 and 140 being tied up. They both will be exciting weight classes. I agree 112 is a tough one but I don't think it compares to those 2.
