    I do not know anything regarding the quality of talent at the tournament in the last few years. However, I do know SCHS has been having more than 2-3 place in that tournament for many years. I know my senior year(1995) we had at least 6 wrestlers in the finals. Tony Bowen, Jeremy Rhodes, Dax Harris, Steve Rhodes, Eric Jewell, McKinley Stepp. I do not recall if Matthew Stepp was in the finals....so I have not counted him.

    Ive got Joe Carr v. Jeremy Rhodes match on tape. Jeremy was wrestling up a weight class. It was pretty good. Went to overtime.

    Scott was not the same wrestler once he moved. His mind was on other things. In KY he lived with Jeremy and had him for a practice partner.

    Granted it is only District...but I believe in 1995 SCHS had 12 wrestlers enter the tournament and 11 of them won District. I know Parkersburg South in WV had a lot of wrestlers in the finals of the state tournament not too many years ago.....I would have to look it up to know what year. It was not all of them, but...a lot.
