Chestnut Street Louisville, KY 40203 Admission: $5 for adults ENTRY FEE: $12/WRESTLER Checks, Money Orders or cash payable to: Central Wrestling ELIGIBILITY: ANY WRESTLER 1ST THRU 8TH GRADE WHO IS NOT A STARTER FOR A MIDDLE SCHOOL TEAM (UNLESS THEY ARE A 1ST YEAR WRESTLER OR YOUTH ELIGIBLE) ALL WRESTLERS MUST HAVE A CURRENT USA WRESTLING CARD (KY LEAGUE CARD OR FULL USA CARD) YOU MUST HAVE AT LEAST ONE COACH PRESENT WITH USA WRESTLING COACHES CARD Format: 8- man bracketing within 1 year and 10% of body weight, double elinination. We will have 4 full mats which will be cut in half. Each wrestler will have 1/2 a mat to wrestle on. AWARDS: MEDALS 1ST – 4TH PLACE ALL EXPERIENCED, USA CERTIFIED REFEREES SESSION 1 9:30 AM-1:00PM (CHECK IN BY NO LATER THAN 9:00 AM) ALL WRESTLERS 1ST/2ND GRADES AND 3RD/4TH GRADES SESSION 2 1:30PM-5:30PM (CHECK IN NO LATER THAN 1:00PM) ALL WRESTLERS 5TH/6TH GRADE AND 7TH/8TH GRADE (NO Middle School STARTERS UNLESS 1ST YEAR KIDS OR YOUTH ELIBILE!) On Thursday April 24, Central lost one of their Yellowjackets in Joshua Vaughn. He died in a car accident in Louisville, Ky. He was only 21 years young. Joshua's last season wrestling for Central was in 10-11. He truly was one of the best kids I have ever known. Coaches please don't take for granted this thing we do. We not only coach a sport but a lifestyle. One that helps boys become great men. This is a very hard time for the family please keep them in your prayers and thoughts. http://www.gofundme.com/8npozg

It was definately a team effort. Trackwrestling is a great program. The whole goal was to keep things moving and get kids matches who came. Thanks again to All those who helped work it and All those who traveled to come. I enjoy promoting the great sport I love. @ coachteater- I remember those days also. We used to start on October 15 and it ended last Saturday of State. There was nothing to do during the summer around home.

There will be a remote weigh in at Campbellsville University Thursday at 7.

Most are doing weigh ins on Thursday and will be inputing wrestlers in then.

John Hardin will be hosting a remote weigh in on Thursday from 6:00- 7:00.

I look forward to seeing who will become 2014 Kentucky USA Folkstyle State Champion this weekend. We are getting lots of interest from Indiana and Tennessee. Looking forward to some good wrestling.

I am not sure if you are from this area but that is nowhere near the school. We have had multiple events at Central this year without any issues.

If you have any questions you may call Coach Founder during the day, Coach McCoy is in class. The whole goal of off season is to get in as much wrestling as possible. Unfortunately at times that will create some over lapping. I have been getting lots of interest from Indiana and also some from TN. Looking forward to giving those who want it the opportunity to get some wrestling in close to home.
