Ken Bachman had done quite a bit of work on past state tournaments. Also, Jerry Schindler,who used to coach at Trinity has put past years together.

Very impressive hurdle and a good kid to boot. he got caught up in the moment. We knew it was not good when the garbage cans started flying.

FWIW, the school that hosted the State meet is Atherton. I am a'91 grad and wrestled them. I think it was the late'90's when they didn't field some teams.

It is absolutely ridiculous to think Coach McCoy doesn't want to improve the logistical issues we deal with in our state.People get on here hiding behind a username and b$#!h and complain when they have absolutely no idea of the steps it takes to get something accomplished. The KHSAA seems to just defer to the NFHS and call it a day. We have region reps and someone who consults with the KHSAA advisory committee and they never do what the Coaches Association recommends.
