    Training @ Trinity

    Training at Trinity High School for High School wrestlers will be on Monday and Thursdays from 5:30-7pm. There will be one Youth(4th-8th grade)session per week on Mondays from 7-8:30. Starts Monday, Feb 28th. Wrestlers will need a USA Wrestling Card $2.00 per session if you're able. This will help prepare wrestlers for tournaments in the upcoming months(Flo,NHSCA,etc...).     Chris Fleeger Prep Camp @ Trinity March 19th

    Training @ Trinity

    2X NCAA Runner-up Chris Fleeger will be at Trinity March 19th to run a camp for those wanting to prepare for upcoming tournaments this Spring. This will be an intensive day of wrestling. There will be some technique taught, but this is to get 4 hours of intense practice. It will be first come,first serve.This being said, the camp is for serious wrestlers wanting to work hard. We will be capping the camp attendance in the mid twenties so everyone attending will get the best workout they can. The cost will be $30.00 Session times 10-noon and 1:30 -3:30 For those interested please contact me via e-mail@ coachbrown1@gmail.com. Email me ASAP. The camp will fill fairly quickly.

  7. I have spoken with Tournament Directors of the Dragon Invite at South Oldham and the Trojan Invite at North Hardin High School. Both tournaments are on. Both are giving a one pound allowance because of the snow day today. 105 can weigh 106 and so on...

    Just spoke to Coach Hitchings, he said Caleb was up 3 with little time left, Combs reversed him with 6 seconds left. Caleb bellied down and with 1 second left the ref hit Caleb with a stall point!! It ended up going to rideout(4th OT) and Caleb hit a peterson to win. It ought to be a great video to watch once they put it up on Flo. Congrats Caleb!! John and Brent both have to win one more to place. Good Luck boys!

    The weights changed in Ky. before the 87-88 season. It went from 98,105,112,119,126,132,138,145,155,167,185, Hwt (12 classes) to 103,112,119,125,130,135,140,145,152,160,171,189,Hwt (13 classes). 215 was added in 1995 (14 classes).

    I believe an example of this is when Bottom stands up and Top has underhooks with his arms and kicks behind both of Bottoms legs while pulling Bottom back into a crab ride.

Forty-nine seniors from those states that sponsor high school state wrestling championships have been chosen for the honor. The High School Excellence Award is named in honor of the late Olympic and World Champion Dave Schultz. Each award recipient is evaluated on excellence in wrestling, scholastic achievement, character, citizenship, and community service.
