This is not to take away from any other wrestler but my vote would go to Jake Bradford. Most people outside of the Ryle Program does not know that Jake gave up his Senior Year playing Football to focus on his wrestling abilities. And let me tell you Jake was one heck of a football player. From being a kid that did not place in the 215 lb weight class a year ago to standing at the top of the podium in the 189 lb weight class this year shows how hard he has worked to be a State Champ in 2009. Just looking at how Jake's body transformed during the last year shows how committed he was. Again not taking away from any other wrestler but I don't think anyone worked/sacrificed as much as Jake did to get his State Title. Now several College Wrestling Coaches have their eyes on Jake and maybe some more will discover him at Senior Nationals. Congratulations go out to the Ryle Coaching Staff and to Jake on a great season Good Luck at Nationals.

Watch Kyle Ruschell in the FINALS of the Midlands Wrestling Championships on the Big Ten Network Tonight at 800pm EST. KYLE FROM RYLE will take on #1 seed and defending NCAA CHAMPION BRENT METCALF in the 149 lb Finals. Kyle was down by a score of 10-4 in his Semifinal Match vs the # 2 seeded Purdue Wrestler and was able to pin him to advance to the finals. Good Luck to Kyle!!!!!!

Kyle Ruschell advances to the Semi Finals of the 48 Team 2008 Midlands Wrestling Championships @ Northwestern University. Kyle the No. 3 seed will face No. 2 seed Jake Patacsil of Purdue. Kyle pinned Tim Hammer of Mich State and Michael Long of VMI before winning 4-3 over No 6 seed Kyle Borshoff of American University to advance to the Semis. The Finals Session will be broadcast live at 700pm on the Big Ten Network Tonight (12/30/08)

Tucker Armstrong is the kid's name he is an outstanding wrestler. According to this article he has moved to "CALIFORNIA" I remember him wrestling middle school for Moeller even though he was from the Columbus Area. Then wound up at Graham.
