I was just being stupid. lol. You know me.

Pioneer, what camps did you say you were planning on going to?
-
I'm about to have my first Double Cheeseburger, McChicken, and Oreo McFlurry meal in about 5 or 6 months. It's gonna be awsome.
-
Yea he sure is a goofy little ginger. lol. You know i'm just jokin' Ben. I would never call you by your doragatory spice name unless I thought you could handle it. :-D

Okay Bop. The couriosity is killing me. Who are you? I mean, I know your name has the word "bop" in it, you obviously wrestle heavy, and, from what I can gather, you wrestle for Valley. But besides that I have no clue. Please tell me!!!

I was sitting with SK most of the time and I can tell you one thing, Ben Winkler is one of the most humble, modest, appreciative kids i've seen step on the mat. Especially one that could be considered one of the "higher level" wrestlers. He just couldn't wipe that smile off his face after his match with Case. From what he said, I understand that he was and alternate the previous 2 years? What an accomplishment. Good job Ben!

favorite wrestler to watch from a different team at state
Danger replied to littleschool130's topic in 2007 Season
Yea. lol. Ross cracks me up. He was walkin' around with a girl who I assumed was his girlfriend. She looked like an amazon in comparison to him. haha. He's a nice guy though. I definately see where they get "frog" from. -
Those Gables are pretty sweet. I like the Caels better though.

I agree. I think Sammy will be a tough opponent this coming season. He faired pretty well against Malcom Jackson. Only lost by 1 point I believe. He's a good kid too. What grade is he in?
-
Yea. I think John should have got his 2 in the last seconds of that match. He stepped it up and beat Ervin, but didn't get his hand raised.
-
I'm pretty sure it was a nut shot. I was right on the mat. He did all the classic 'just caught it in the crotch' squates and such.
-
You weren't kidding when you told me you were eating so much it was rediculous!!! I'm at like 156 or 157 from 152. I was always underweight anyway.

Biggest dissapointments of the state tournament
Danger replied to Skwrestling119's topic in 2008 Season
I agree. Robbie Vaughn is a great kid and a fine example of how a wrestler should behave on and off the mat. His first loss was tough to watch. He unknowingly stuck himself. Then he wrestled his match against Jarvis Elam with an injured hand. This was a kid that I thought would make it to the finals. Sad to see him not even place. -
You did a great job!!! But, just so you know, you put "nig" instead of "big". lol.
-
I put it on my mp3 player yesterday and have been listening to it all day.
-
Yea. He's pretty strong, too. What grade is he in? I think his style of wrestling [liking throws] will make for some fun to watch matches in the future.

There is no need to pay attention to this guy. Derek Nickel dominated, desevered gold, and, in my opinion, should have walked away with most outstanded wrestler. Period. Mitch Ervin wrestled great and secured his teams victory but wasn't he also pick to win state by most people? Derek came out of nowhere and made his run to the top look easy. Maybe next year he'll come back and show people just how "lucky" he is by taking some more hardware home.

Mason Reid. His was pretty awsome too.
-
Yea. I was pretty impressed with their 152. He put on a pretty good performance against Wakefield. That lateral that he hit when Wakefield shot was pretty sweet.

Bailey showed great ability. Even though he was looked very gassed at the end of the second he still managed to hang in there with the byrd man and even threw him around a little. I think Bailey's strength definately contributed to him making it into the double overtime. That was a great way to end the state tournament. I gave him a congradulatory slap on the back after the match and it was, lets say...less than dry. lol.

That kid is a monster. Both talent wise and physically. I heard that he was up 8-4 against Jones when he got hurt. If thats true then this guy will be amazing in the years to come. He shocked me as a sophomore at state. Very talented.

If Dakoda and Johnny meet up in finals next year it would be an amazing match in my opinion. I'm suprised they didn't have that inside trip on the video. I thought that was Johnny's best move in the match.

I think that, in most cases, it should be considered a forfeit unless it is absolutely nessecary. And it you do tap purely for strategy, then I believe they award 4 back points to the other wrestler so even then it isn't very smart.

I feel bad for Dakoda Choate. He was the only one who got 2 slow motion replays of him getting taken down. haha.
