wow that is alot. but are these strictly varsity wins? i jus dont remember josh having 31 wins his freshman year cuz i do remember WCI he went 0-2 and i know this because i was wrestling him in middle school the same time he was wrestling varsity, and i watched like all his matches i could. its completly believable and if josh himself told me, i would believe him instantly. this jus sounds...crazy cuz i dont remember him being that dominant of a wrestler in 7th grade.

so his 7th grade year and his 8th grade year he won 50 matches? i dont remember that.

Could you post his record year by year? Because this means he won 60 matches a year or atleast averaged it. Is this like highschool carrer or summer, middle school records included? what resource is this from?

even though he is seeded higher, if they meet bracco will handle abney. the kid isn't on braccos level i mean i wrestled abney and the score was 15-4 when he caught me in a chancery< i say this because when me and bracco wrestle everyday its usually with in 2- 3 takedowns either way depending who is feeling the best. im confident in bracco hope not too confident :evil:

What do u mean earned the dislike of opposing fans? was it not coty lewis after loosing to Kyle R. in the finals that held his head high and walked off the matt with a succesful year? was it not coty lewis that after being robbed in the finals against caleb wood still showed respect to the reffs, shook there hands and got off the mat, was it not coty lewis after sticking josh johnson in the finals, helped the kid up then started his celebration? so u judge a kid on how well he performed his last two years in high school and that completly masks the previous three years? so he pump-faked the crowd after a call he saw unfair, big whoop. and i hate these kids that say they heard lewis say so many things, not like coty lewis at all.

yea same here. the more weight he cuts the more sluggish he will wrestle. with a high intencity wrestler like osborne its hard to wrestle all 6 mins, and with a match like that it would probably be longer.

Issac Knable went on to wrestle for Indiana alos. i dont think he wrestled there very long, dont know details if it was burn out or not, idk. i just know he went there and like a few years later he wasnt there. last i saw of him i thought he was helping coach St. X

yea with him at 125, that weight is looking tougher and tougher.

IDK bout the off season mat time. i mean there are kids that do other things beside wrestle in the off season and still are dominate wrestlers. Dont get me wrong, the off season is 9.999999 times out of 10 the most important/probable time to improve. im just saying that our opinion shouldn't differ about the best pound for pound wrestler in Kentucky, for what he did in some freestyle tourny in Indiana over the summer, it should differ depending on how he wrestles in our state, in our tournys, in our season. Although everybody on this poll wrestles in national summer/ off season tournys, haha.

WCI was started in the 70's. not sure of exact year. im thinking when Coach Parks came to the program in either 76, 77 something like that. so saying it was started in 77 would give us 32 years of WCI. not quite as long but close to it.

Josh Johnson still gets my vote. transistions, thats what i look at in how good a wrestler is. if your so dominant that u dont mess up, that speaks for your weight class. but if u can mess up, and brush it off with another move and it be flawless like you planned it, you deserve to be the best pound for pound wrestler, IMA thats josh.
