At 140 grimm had slone beat 3-1 last year in region duals when slone was 135 and grimm and slone used to be wrestling partners and r still best friends so i doubt both of them will go the same wieght and jordan freeman will be against shotwell in the finals and after talking to freeman i dont think they will be any1 who can stop him this year

Grimm from Johnson Central has been 140 all year with only lost being to Matt Slone. Grimm leading 3-1 with 15 sec to go lost control of the leg and got caught. Slones coaches bumped him to 140 for the match

I know the Jude boy is 15 but how does this matter if the kids he,s pinning are already 17 & 18 year old sophmores,juniors and seniors. He has to love the sport and work extremely hard to be this much better. Give credit and be prepared if you fall into his bracket also look at the team he,s on Carr 8th grade, Salyers 9th, Grimm 10th, Cantrell 10th, Sites 10th, Harlow 10th and a up and coming middle school team that has done very well this year. Could just be very hard working kids and GREAT COACHING.

These rankings are off because none of the wrestlers from johnson central are goin wat they are ranked at..

johnson central is taking there whole team down there..... is there goin to be any good 125 or 135-145 there

grimm will be going 130 next year and he has been going to tons of camps and with the help of his coach i think he will definitly be in the finals......i seen him a while ago and he looked like he was still in great shape and is to good of a leg rider and can score from neutral fairly good but when he takes u down i dont think you can get out of his leg...so he is def my pick for the finals :mrgreen:

if the ref would have been a little better at his job eck probaly wouldnt have made the championship match the grimm kid from johnson central scored 7 points on seeders that the ref said was out of bounds. then in the 3rd period hit grimm with a stalling call with 20sec left and you could plainly see him working in a power half on a senior laying still on the mat. grimm lost in ot but should have won in 1st period when he caught seeders in a whip. just a freshman placed 5th and has matney for a coach he will be a threat in what ever weight class he is in next year. possible 3 timer

grimm went to overtime with seeders and it shouldnt of even went that far grimm scored an easy 2 and wasnt given it and was also hit with staulling when he had legs in he should of been in the semis but u cant beat 2 people at 1 time(referee+seeders VS grimm)

that grimm from Johnson county at 130 showed up to wrestle he beat some of the top ranked kids and will be one to look for in the next few years hes only a freshman Along with matt slone of Sheldon clark ryan kelly had an unfortunate dislocated elbow and Was winning 8-4 he is also very younge just a sophmore and gave Jones all he wanted im sitting here watching some great matches

tyler grimm from Johnson central will place if not win he beat shotwell preseason handily could be the surprise kid in state. he is being coached by jim matney now he builds cofidence.
