Science Hill looked good. They placed sixth behind John Hardin. There were 18 quality teams there from 6 states. Nicely run meet.

Both wrestlers have dropped to 145. Makes keeping the rankings updated that much harder.

At the Fandetti Brawl in Tennessee, Tyler Lowe of Perry beat Jeremiah McGee of John Hardin 10-3 for fifth place at 145.

Hibbard is doing well this season but has not wrestled Grimm. He has pinned Saner and Caudill both of Johnson, and pinned Sweet of Wayne, Hurstle Upchurch of McCreary, Miles of Letcher and Newsome of Whitley. He lost a decision to LaLonde of Tates Creek 13-6.

Where is Lawrence County wrestling this season? We would like to see them. They pulled out of two meets we were at this year.

Perry County would be willing to host Region 5.

It's a shame. I heard that Pike Central sold off their mats a couple of years ago and the few guys trying to still wrestle had to practice on the floor after that. It's hard to come back from that.

Many middle schoolers are filling spots on the high school team to get experience. Not all teams are located close enough to other programs to make middle school wrestling a successful program on its own. They need to be able to shine in their own environment.

We are trying to organize elementary duals for Jan 19, if there is enough interest at Perry County.

Hey people, you are getting a little harsh on both sides. I think that it is in the best interest of all to look ahead and start planning for next year so that embarrassing mishaps like two tournaments doesn't happen again. I have just recently located this website and feel like I walked onto a battlefield. I just wish that the elementary and middle school information was a little more available out there. My eighth grade son has missed out on a lot because we got information too late, but I hope we can do better for our younger wrestlers in the future now that I've located the source of information. Can we get information on the Connor tournament? I have the JC info already.
