he was really taking it to zarth in the first period at state. i actually think kevin may have taken zarth down and been up going into the second.

thats weird, cause during the entire season i went 39 and 4. adding regionals and state, i went 43 and 7. seems a had a great season, with a not so good ending, if staying up till 12 15 got me there, hell id do it all over again. and i have seen martin wrestle, just not when he weighed 103. and who are you to tell people who can and cannot comment on this thread? are you an admin? i dont think so. why are you posting? you said yourself you dont even like or want to read about the topic anymore, that seems to give you less right than anyone to posting on here.

there was another one from tates creek, mike migliaccio or something like that. in the 90s i think.

i have to say that zarth, is very technical. if you watch his matches he rarely ever puts himself in a dangerous postition, and works every move he does text book style. he puts his pressure in all the right places as well, such as when he does armbars, or when he gets on his opponents heads in neutral.

very good point, the topic is blatantly titled elliot martin or john fahy. if you dont like these topics, then it is very easy to stay away from them. but i never watched elliot wrestle at 103, so idk how good he was then.

but as far as kentucky goes, 103 is normally a fairly weak weight class, with few upperclassman.

i would take a state runner up at the 130 weight class, over a state championship at the 103 weight class any day. call me crazy, but thats far more impressive in my opinion, unless 103 was more stacked, like it was the last couple years.

i may have been online after the day of wrestling, but never during. i do stay logged in though, so it may have just said i was logged in.

bear makes some good points, but as stated, one year college wrestling is huge. give zarth his year in college, if he decides to and we'll see the leaps and bounds he makes. i do agree with them going all out if there was nothing to lose, but i dont like using osbourne as a common opponent. michael was good two years ago, but improved tremendously this year. he placed fourth at 112, and runner up at a much tougher 119, that alone shows the improvements. so to me zarths victory was better than travis's.

i dont know if courtney would get away as easily as you make it seem. no doubt i think he;d eventually get the escape, but with mitch's size and strength advantage, he could hold courtney a while. and i definetly think he would be able to stop the peterson roll that courtney always trys, the ervins seem really scrappy, and i think he would be good and smart enough to cut him before he got turned.

even if sullivan hit the throw, no way in hell hes strong enough to hold zarth on his back and get the pin. and it is a nice change kentucky lol.

well even if it doesnt help, since you already have it, might as well wear it, it couldn't hurt. i know i wore a small one from time to time when i worked out and did pullups and push ups in it.

i think that matt would have dominated travis, especially if you choose travis from his senior year, and zarth from his senior year. hell id even take zarth his sophmore year over the senior travis. travis wasnt wrestling as well as he had in previous years his senior year, maybe this was due to the bump to 112. i dont know, but in my opinion zarth wins hands down, no problem.

not everyone thinks weve ruined this site. a lot of people actually like reading our posts and hearing our thoughts, no matter how dumb. everyone is entitled to their own opinion, this is america after all.

actually im not positive that dirty underwear is even on tates creeks team. so maybe you should find out if he is, before you go saying that.

unless that great neutral wrestler cannot escape from the bottom. close match, hard to call for me, but i give the edge to courtney.

yeah that picture does make me look rather skinny lol. believe it or not, i only weighed about 128 129 all season. i didnt cut much weight at all.

i dont know if that is true jpizar, it seems i would remember if courtney lost a match to thueneman at south oldham, cause i loved watching both of them wrestle, and tates creek attends that tournament. although, you may be right, but im leaning more towards you are thinking of something else, or some other tournament at a different time.

ive said it before, but ill say it again. to me daniel thueneman has got to be the best to never win. i mean was he a three time third placer? losing to the guy that won it those three times? he was a hell of a wrestler, and the only wrestler i can ever remember watching wrestle courtney and wonder who was going to win.

yeah he actually made weight at 215, but decided to wrestle heavy because he thought the competition was easier. i loved watching him cause he rode legs lol, it was quite funny.
