    215

Agreed Dials has wrestled tough but I see it being Green and Winters in the finals. I dont see Green having a problem with anyone to get to finals and I know Winters hasn't been wrestling tough as of late but I think he is going to pick it up at state and be center stage come saturday.

    Dunbar's 215?

Does any one have an update on Doug Winters - Dunbars 215 - Will he be back for regionals? It'd be a real shame if he was out for the season this close to the end.

    state duels - surprise teams

A lot has been said about Larue winning, trinity beating Woodford, and North Hardins 3rd place finished, but I think some KUDOS need to be given to Seneca with a 4th place finish, and to Dunbar making it to the finals - not many had said anything about them making it so far, congratulations to both teams!!

The best 215's in the state

wow that's kind of harsh! everyone goes through some tough times, perhaps Winters is just hitting a lull, I hope he can step up to the plate come state, he is definitely a wrestler worthy of a state title this year. But state titles don't come without hardwork, so agreed he will definitely have to work hard if he wants to be a champ come February!

Kind of rough for Chaney, beating Green and not moving anywhere on the rankings...but then again I think 215 rankings are about as close to impossible as they could ever be!! once again excellent job on the rankings, thanks for all your time and effort Ranger it's appreciated

    Regionals

looks like region 7 will be a dominant region at state

    State Duels

    - When will we know the pools for state duels? - Which teams do y'all think will get seeded? - Any one got any predictions on top 3 teams?

wow that makes my head hurt! I also think it's funny that everytime some one mentions state finals predictions Winters and Green aren't mentioned, its usually between Watson, Dockery, Chaney, Dials and Nickle...but look at the rankings, seems as if Winter and Green are out to prove something.

    Five Star Classic Results

Hartman lost to Winters it was 5-1 but it really wasn't that close, Winters just rode him out most of the match. Not to sure what happened with the Winters v Green match up I had already left, but i did see there match at Dunbar Region Duels and also expected it to be a lot closer, maybe Green just had a bad match at Dunbar Duels??!!

    Region 8 champions

I think Watsons a little more dynamic than people give him credit for. True his main move is a headlock, but maybe he just hasnt met anyone that he needs to use more on?

I don't think Sullivan will have a problem staying down at 105...(even though I think it would be better for his college career if he stayed heavier at 112/114) I also think Malcom Jackson will take Peace, although I think Peace has the technique I think Jackson has the heart. I think 215 will be Winter and Chaney in the finals...with Winter coming out on top, call me crazy but when I saw him at Dunbar region duels he just seemed to have an unorthodox style no one can handle . Also i think after Byrd's loss he'll have the determination to run away with state, although you never know what will happen with the heavies.

    Region 7 Duals`

WOW so Dunbar beat Woodford, thats got to be the first time in a while Woodford hasn't won regional duels! what where some of the individual match ups like....who all went 8 - 0 (i think there were 8 matches per team?)

"Which 2 teams will come out on top at Region 7 duals"

What state placers/finalists do you think could come out of region 7 this year?...With teams like Woodford, Dunbar, Lafayette, Henry Clay, Montgomery and Harrison, I would imagine there should be quiet a few, looks like region 7 has, hands down, the toughest individual wrestlers in the state!!

WOW we could possibly have Starks, Watson, Green and Winter all wrestling in the same weight...thats going to make an interesting tourney at 215!! Can't wait to see it!!! :-D

    Dunbar??

I think Dunbar looks REAL good on the individual front. They got the likes of Donnell Davis, Nick Quigley and Leo Leddy all who could place. Then they also got Tyler and Jon Voth as well as Doug Winters who could all be wrestling in the spotlight come February..although Doug Winters could run into some trouble with Matt Green if he stays 215
