For Woodford..... Brian White is at 152, Curtis Graham 160 and Chad Goodrich 171 -
Apparently no food vendor bid on the job and since Lundy's is already there..... In the past an outside vendor came in and occupied the space. They grilled burgers, chicken breasts, and ribeye sandwiches.

From 152, both Proctor-SO and Whalen-HC have dropped to 145 From 160, Has anyone seen Calderon-BS wrestle this season? Also Duzyk-HC has not been on the mat since before Christmas. Graham-WC has beaten Malito-JH and Shoopman-MC pinned JJ Jude-JC -
Any results, upsets?

Woodford won all their duels yesterday beating Dunbar, Harrison Co., Tates Creek, Henry Clay & Bourbon Co.

TC125 you r one of the #1 problems on this site. You speak on on EVERY thread and most of it make you look ridiculous. You are arrogant and pampas and personally, I am so tired of seeing you blab on and on about everything and nothing. Most of it is totally off topic and you r just bashing other people. Your high school wrestling career is over!!! Get over yourself and move on! Look at your negative Karma points. Speaks for itself.

TC125 R U a senior???? Sure hope so. The rest of us are soooooooo tired of listening to you talk smack and not be able to back it up. If you are a senior then you have been around enough to see the most respected and highly looked up to wrestlers are the humble ones who let there work ethic show on the mat, not by running their mouth and putting others down. After your poor preformance at state, I think .....nough said by you this season. Let it end. -
This was a waste of space to even start this thread. Harrison Courtney all the way!

I have to agree with this. I also can not understand why Murrell is still ranked so far ahead of Wright at this point. Wright clearly has beaten him decisively several times now. :? -

Graham at 152 from Woodford has beaten Berry of Harrison Co., Hinkle of N. Oldham and Duyzk of HC. Berry even tapped out in his match with Graham, yet they r all ranked above him??? -
Jealousy is the biggest form of flattery you know.

Courtney is staying at 160!

Peace Maker, That was so beautifully written and it was so truthful and very touching. Every coach ought to recite that at the first parent meeting of the season. It would really give some of the lesser privilaged families something to grasp onto. I am a single parent who loooooves the sport of wrestling and was delighted when my only son wanted to take on the task to become a top wrestler. It has not been easy financially or personally giving up all my Saturdays during the busy Christmas season. Regardless, I would not give up one single Sat. watching my son battle for his life, win or lose. Kudos to you peacemaker, and best of luck with the Princeton grapplers.

MatMama, what do you think about Courtney at 145 now??????? Courtney will be celebrating tonight for the 3rd time. Probably the only sure thing of this State tournament
-
gotta go for Parks this time. He seems to b on top of his game now. Zeppa did not inpress in the qtrs. Was a boring match with no points scored till the last 20 seconds. No energy or aggressiveness in his approach at all.

Good job to hosting by Moore. Their people did work hard to keep things flowing. Too long of a day though. Definetly needed 3 mats. I was there for over 10 hours and our kids only wrestled 3-4 times in 10 hours. Sloooooow motion, slowest tournament of the season by far. Also, one of the refs had to be JV himself. Took him forever to call a flat out pin. Nice medals and trophies BTW. IT was all pretty good for the 1st JV state all in all though. Thanks Moore

I think this is a good building tool for the younger wrestlers. They need it for their confidence. I just wish our JV regionals would have been run a little better. We were in Frankfort, KY at the high school. They had some good refs but those kids wrestled 3 matches in an hour and a half. My son went 3-0 with 3 pins and didn't even get a medal. If we are going to get these JV wrestlers some equal matches, they should get some other payoff for their hard work and efforts. Hopefully by next season, things will be more organized for the JV wrestlers. They are our future state champions BTW.

A pin by Statten, the freshman represented. Gr8 match for heavyweights, lots of action by both wrestlers. Impresive pin by Statten.

12-15: Floyd Central Duals (St. X Results)
Chicken Wing replied to DrCradle's topic in High School Results
Woodford had an open spot due to an injury at 160, + they have a freshman at 145 in the B spot behind Courtney who needs some mat time. Rather then take a forfiet at 160, Woodford threw the freshman 145 pounder in and bumped up Courtney and Scott. A weight class bump up or 2 isn't gonna stop Courtney from winning and pinning, he's the BOMB! -
no doubt Woodford Co. They also had a strong Middle school team this yr and many of those boys will be into the high school program this yr.

at 140 Couch has to get past Procter. Where was Couch at the beginning of the season anyway? Nothing posted about him till after the new year. Was he wrestling high school?
