I'm not completely sure if this has already been discussed on here or not, but if a studen't is "Homeschooled could he or she wrestle for the school in that county?" Also if someone for some reason decides to go on "Homebound for a period of time (we will say for a month) could they still wrestle if they had already attended a tourney or practice? Hope this does not break any eligibility discussion rules.

Kentuckywrestling.com HS Rankings - 2008/2009 PRESEASON APRIL 3

I honestly doubt Harrison will end up that low next year, I agree we will not have a squad as good as we have in the past couple of years but we will be decent, higher than 28. Just my opinion though, good job on the rankings..... -

Maxwell also has beaten Podgorski and Thompson but Ward has as well, at Super Duals to be exact. He went 8-1 that week. I'm only saying something because Ward is the one who is no ranked, Maxwell is ranked #11 at 135. -

Cody Ward has also beaten Jack Podorski and Bryan Thompson, both by major. -
Alright in my opinion Kentucky wrestling doesn't get the respect we deserve. We are a fairly good state for wrestling but yet we do not get any recongnition. If you were to pick any wrestlers that should be or should've been nationally ranked who would they be?

Are you serious, as long as baileys double blast keeps hittin and he stays agressive I easily see him placing. I know theres not that many have weights out there with the speed and strength of bailey.
-
well all the supes did place this year and with seniors graduating they dropped out and supes bumped up. Trinity deserves to be ranked like that, i easily see trinity have 6-9 placers next year, 4 of which will be top 3.

I'm not sure what harrison's line up could be next year but if i had to make a guess I'd say it would look something like this.... 103= ???? Don't know what middle schooler coach has decided on???? 112= Andy Lenz 119= Jackson Sanders 125= Casey Hill 130= Cody Ward 135= Trevor Maxwell 140= Caleb Berry/ Josh Moss 145= Coty Berry 152= Chris Brunker 160= Brandon Barnett 171= Seth Coy 189= Brett Williams 215= Shaun Lenz 285= Daniel Kiskaiden

I took a look at the list of participants registered so far and Ryan Kelly and Ryan Houchens are also registered. I also plan to go and wrestle 112 at virgina.

Thank you kywrestler123. I think i got a good idea of who this is. :-D LOL. But im here to tell ya im not no ross carpenter fraiser, that man gets out there and throws me like nothin.
-
Alright buddy this is Lenz and im here to say i didn't have any easy draw. I drew thomas second round which i understand i could've wrestled better, 3rd round i drew Sullivan and lost 7-3. I dropped down to the conso and drew Kyle Terry beat him in quad overtime, i had wrestled good and i cut him twice and he got a reversal i think. Then i drew Dan Smith was losing by 1 and got caught. So i really dont understand how i had an easy draw, i drew the number 1, 2, 7, and 8th ranked guys at the state tourney. Please explain to me how i had and easy draw. I showed up to wrestle and win, not to go home with nothing!

Thnx for the suppourt guys, not sure what to say with the baby comment but good to know someones out there does. LOL

After watching and reveiwing the entire match (ashbrook/choate) I have come to the conclusion that Choate should NOT have won the match. Ashbrook was the aggressor the entire match, he took 14 shots to Choates 3, after choate luckily got the takedown he stall the rest of the way. That is why ashbrook was gassed going in to sudden death overtime, because he was working the entire match not just circling and stay in a collar tie to stall out.

I honestly didn't think kincer was at 3 until I checked the brackets out and came across his name. I do see him around 119 or 125 as well. I can see Brown going 119 for a while but he'll drop when the 2 lbs comes around.
-
I wasn't sure, i know he is cutting weight this year and not liking it so he may decide to go 112 with Smith out of the picture.
-
1= Osborne 2= Bradburry 3= Lenz 4= Thomas 5= Troxxel 6= Terry 7= Brown 8= Kincer

After getting a general idea of what the brackets plan to look like at state, what is everyones predictions on state finals, team scores, and interesting matches we could see throughout the state tourney?

Ashbrook is undefeated in state at 50-0.
-
Just to get the word out, it was capital city classic in which dillion and ashbrook wrestled and i do not recall dillion ever having a lead, Ashbrook had a stomach virus that weekend and vomitted 3 or 4 times immediately following the match.
-
I got a feeling hwt is gonna be dominated by Dennis Coomer!!!!!!! Cooooooomerrrrrrrr

Isaacs forfeited to Haynes in 3rd and 4th finals.
