My bad. They are in 3 but, clearly belong in 2.

The 1st overtime is sudden victory. The 1st to score wins. If a wrestler is taken down directly to his back, he is allowed to try to complete the fall. This is for team points.

What does decide? Is it possible that Meade and John Hardin go to the duals and leaves LaRue odd man out?

All Knable ever did was all that was asked of him. He had nagging injuries that prevented him from having a stellar career at Indiana. But, give him credit for wrestling Div 1 in the toughest conference in America. I know he was respected by his coaches (no slouches there) and team. He can be seen at most all St X's matches coaching the JVs. That's what you call giving back. Here, in Kentucky not in Indiana. I don't know why there would be such a lack of respect except for envy.

Brandon is good. No doubt about that. But, I have always felt their amazing win streak was jaded due to the fact they never really faced national level competition as a team. If they were to lay it out there, they would have traveled like St. Eds, Apple Valley, Grundy, etc.

Don't be so down on your self there BillyBob. It would be dependent on the criteria you use. The best teams in KY (Union, Trinity, Ryle, Woodford) would be competitive. KY state champions would split with FL's champs. If you used, per capita relative to the populations, a good argument could be made that KY is a better wrestling state.

Is that like a Spider Monkey, Ricky Bobby?

Ruled illegal this year. Sweet but, it'll cost you a point.

Someone else poked The Bear.

Sure they can. And, D1 can hang with Olympians. Did I just poke the Bear?

Did they overturn Peace's win at 140 or, Courtney's at 145?
-
That is illegal if you do it by grabbing the chin.

It takes a village but, one person can make a difference. No one wins by himself. -
Most points in a match have you ever seen at state

Finals - 125 - 2002 Joey Hagedorn, Cambell Co. - 16 Mark Shaver, South Oldham - 14 -
Conrad Wilmoski also had Carr so flat you couldn't get a credit card underneath him. It was a district finals and Gene Washington ( one of the best) wouldn't call it.

I believe Southern112 has posted he was entering into Military Service. Not to condone underage drinking but, I've always had a problem with the he is old enough to die yet not old enough to drink mentality. The fine in Lexington is $5 for PI. I wonder why. Age has little to do with being "grown up". If he is willing to make this sacrafice for us, you better hope he is grown up. That'd just make it a double damn shame should he ever be in harm's way. ~stepping down from soap box and in overall agreement with ccbcdeke especially with regard to providing the -OH

I meant GOO as in ectoplasmic residue.

GOO is wise. He post as if he were a politician. To bring this on topic, to date, only Palin has stated anything that would be relevant to our sport. In her interview on ABC she stated she was a Title-9 product. I'm fine with that because I believe in equal opportunity. The problem is, in that same interview she also demonstrated that frankly, she could be smarter. Therefore, I doubt she understands it is the proportionality prong of Title-9 that needs to be refined. If we keep educating on ourselves on the issues with these candidates, I don't think the election will be as close as the pundits are predicting.

I admit that I love watching the UFC/MMA. However, I contend that it is bad for high school wrestling and has no place on this board for High School Wrestling.
