My ninja mind tricks aren't honed in yet this morning. So, was it Reid I saw on TV in bad need of haircut? Do you know his projected weight class? MSU seened young at anyplace he would fit in their line-up.

Again. You have Trinity with 5 champions and still pick Ryle for the team title. 5 Champs is Alotta points. Maybe you don't think anyone else from Trinity will get out of the 1st round and Ryle will have 2 champs and 12 3rd placers.

That is pretty good criteria for MOW. Has a 103 ever won it? Would they give it to a Freshman? Well, he has to do it 1st, of course. My guess it will come out of the 160 bracket but, once it again it won't be for the most outstanding wrestler of the tournament but, more of a life time acheivment.

I can't imagine having 5 individual champions and not winning the team title. What's your reasoning?

I was sure that was why CPR certification was mandatory in Jefferson County. -

He will be missed. -
Did I see Reid in the stands while watching the MSU UofM match on the Big 10 network last week? I understand he has redshirted. If that was him, he needs haircut.

IPEA, you're due some commisions. Unless, you are with the media you will not be allowed on the floor.

This is stupid. If your in OT and not using your best "GO TO" takedown you should lose. OT is not the place to experiment. Defense first.

This statement cound not be more false.

Still. I'd think he would warrant your wild card. Talk about wild....yeah that's a good description of Jaggers.

That is what people fail to understand. Coaching is so much more than showing/teaching moves. Also, maybe the refs are less tolerant of Carr's corner antics without Park's level headed approach to the table. The facts are clear. Maybe the Carr combo can get them back but, I still think there shouldn't be a set of rules for the Carr's in the corner chair and a set for everyone else. This is not a rap on Joe Sr. I think people are failing to recognize Rusty's contributions.

My opinion is he was better with Rusty Parks as head coach. I think the facts speak for themselves.

Just like last year, no one considered J Jaggers. But, that was last year. Now he is the defending champion and still not getting in love.

Kudos to the trainer that was on duty and to NOHS for having her available for a very long day. She told me she wished she knew more about wrestling because she would enjoy it more. I don

To both extremes of the mass spectrum, I've always said: To heavys; A little technique will take you a long way in this sport. To lightweights; A little strength will take you a long way in this sport. To everyone in between; You're gonna need both. Superior conditioning will take you a long way this sport.

Hasn't Menard (OC) beat Knight (SO) twice this year?

We all appreciate your work here. But, The Brakeman Report sounds so much cooler than Ranger's ranking. Are you working on a cable TV deal too? Maybe you should get with Danger and start on YouTube.

I believe that certified trainers will become more and more involved with all aspects of high school sports. The liability is just too great. Many feel that had PRP had a trainer on site, their football coach and school would not be in the mess they're in now and a child would not be dead.

Without question the 2002 National Duals. Ohio State was losing to Oklahoma 17-13 heading into the last match which was heavyweights. The match went into OT and Tommy Rowlands took Leonce Crump down to his back to win his match and a spot in the finals against Minnesota. Because of the fall Ohio Sate won 19-17. Being in Columbus, of course the crowd went crazy. Not to mention, I'm a big Tommy Rowlands fan anyway.

New female wrestling coaches and officials in the sport?
tiltfor3 replied to wrestlingtime's topic in 2009 Season
You could also be describing the NC2A finals. I think those scores are pretty much in line w/ 90% of semi and finals. So, here's the dig - If college is more interesting, why do we reward them with riding time but, penalize HS for stalling? To get this back on topic how many points would you award for a high amplitude throw of a female ref? -

Too bad the rest of the world doesn't agree with you. It is just what we are used to in the US. There's nothing more exciting than a 5pt throw. That'll get you DQed in folkstyle. What do you like better college or high school? -
Little Hitchings weighed in at 112 Saturday and beat Byron Hoskinson at 119.
