i would never count new youn talent out but their are some veterans in the weight. It is between Myron, Johnson, and Elam. They are in a different league compare to the others, i believe their only competition will be each other. ps a name doens't mean a thing, even if it happens to be cooper.

i could see trinity pulling it out possibly, but it is between union and trinity. cambell doesn't have the horsepower to win state duals, what studs that they have? they may be solid, but who do they have that can beat all the returning placers on trinity or union's teams?

when i was in sixth grade Neil Crawford(2000 state champ, 130 seneca) sat next to me on a the school bus. He said he used to be small like me and that if i wrestled people would fear me.

i say zach pulton will be at the top, he is very dangerous and aggresive. he gets really physical with everybody.

mitchel rogers,wow. He was a scapper, and you never knew what was gonna happen. i don't know how many times i saw him being majored and then launch somebody and stick um. he was very fun to watch.

martin is at 119, a returning state champ, and has beaten evans, so that puts him at either 2nd or 3rd for now. daniels, zarth, martin, evans or zarth, martin, evans, daniels i'm pretty sure shane parks will not be back at 119

he has grown a few more inches and weighing about 125 right now, he is going 119 for sure and is much stronger

ps, martin and evans wrestled 2 years ago with martin on top 8-5. And he did it weighing in 80's even though everybody gives me crap when i say that about his weight. If you don't believe me look at the weigh in sheet, the most he ever weighed that year was 92. :mrgreen:

sorry guys, but its gonna be martin at the top of 119. i'm sure i'll get bashed for saying that but he is just plain amazing. His improvements and accomplisments since state last year are unreal. He is going to be very dangerous, and that fact that many don't believe it just makes it better, because not many expect him to come out and take it all again.

i agree, courtney is the best non senior in the state.

i would put several teams in fifth before south oldahm, they don't have any studs

josh johnson will bevery hard to beat, myron bradbury and sean johnson will be a the top of 103(with elam nipping at their heels)

On the nickle issue, i had the privellege of watching him wrestle at nationals in viringia this summer. He is the real deal, he wrestled tough and beat some very good kids. He has the skill to repeat, and since he won the state tournament last summer, he must be the favorite.

06-07 Season, and summer camp

What about Tommy Warren? He did take 3rd and beat both of the wrestlers in question here(3rd at state). If he is back to 103 I would say he is someone that can't be ignored.

elliott beat myron like 14-2 at regionals(is the reitz kid an all american?...no), anyway, but elam can't practice with the reitz kid during the season. Shawn will continue to improve all season and have great wrestlers pushing him. I think shawn will come out on top when it comes down to it. It will be a great match, i can't wait to see it.

I wouldn't be so quick to say that elam has a strength advantage, is a very strong 103 maybe the strongest this coming year. Technique will be the deciding factor, and take into account who shawn has be wrestling with this summer, Elliott Martin and Jeff Warra. He is will have more technique than last year. I call it a toss up but myron is the one to beat for sure.

Glenville State was going to be a first year team, but the program got cut before it began. Dan Fuller and both Warner's were going to be on the team.

yeah i'm serious. At junior nationals I saw Martin beating state champs, even pinning them. Then I saw zarth get teched twice at sophpmore nationals, because he wrestled scared, he was good enough to compete, he folds when a tough kid pushes him. Chui didn't push zarth, sullivan and martin will, and i expect the same result unless he turns a corner.

Just for the record martin beat evans when he weighed 89 pounds wrestling 103 his sophomore year, almost pinned him. you are all in for a shock with martin. He has been wrestling MUCH better competition this summer than evans or sullivan, guaranteed. By the way zarth will be lucky to come in 4th at 119 next year. Martin and sullivan will tear him up, probably evans too. Zarth didn't look impressive at nationals.
