alfred Collins from perry county cebtral has been fighting some.

i wondered the same thing, and KS isn't working hands on with his fighters like Ortiz is. I believe this gives Ortiz's team a distinct advantage in that they are fighting with a talented UFC fighter who smashed KS's face in...and by the way I hope that Forrest Griffin knocks Tito out...hard ........ Go Griffin ! ! !

the reason cpry spencer may not go 12 is because he had to cut A LOT of weight to make 103, and still some to make 12. with him growing and hitting the weights he may be at 119, and could be tough there

Collins is a Senior.

Kestner was a senior also, so it was good for him to win but bad for Ben to lose. Yeah, it was surprising to see Wasson lose to Carey from Anderson County, Carey wrestled very well. The match between him and Jammie Kestner was also an exciting match to watch. There were lots of throws and close ones for both wrestlers, but Carey came out on top with a lateral that pinned kestner with about a minute left in the third. 130was a very exciting weight class to watch @ the stae tourney, I was very surprised with all of the close and interzting matches to watch.

please dont over look "jordan freeman from jchs" ranger 123 before doing the preseaon rankings he will stay at 125 and he beat a couple of ranked guys at state rashad brown by pin he wrestling eric bryant at regions and lost by a couple of points he is just a freshman and will do very well in years to come. also travis scott 145 will do very good next year very tuff kid, :twisted:

Because what would some of the wrestlers weigh when it came time for the semis and the finals ? you would prolly have a 130 pounder weighing in @ 140 or more.

what about Ben Rust from CC getting beat by Jammie Kestner from JCHS ? That was an exciting match to watch. 5-4 was the final.

What were the results from Region 8 ? How was the wrestling ?

What do u all think of 130 @ Region 8 ? With Howard, Kestner, Collins, & Kilburn....this could be a very interesting weight class to watch with some very exciting wrestling. What do u all think ?

Anthony Patrick won Most Valuable Wrestler, with all pins in the 1st period. Trace Stafford was injured, while wrestling the 130lber from Bourbon county ( Zed something). I belive he broke his arm... i saw the injury and it didn't look very good . Hope he is okay, and good luck to him. Post some more results from this tourney and say what u thought about the wrestling..

If i am correct wasnt that the only time that Kilburn beat Patrick ? And i believe that Patrick was winnning 10 to 0 and he got rolled ? what has kilburn done @ tournaments this year ?

there's just something about having your whole team sitting right beside me on the mat that pumps me up...with some good music before a match and the support of my team , i am ready to go

Tyler Grimm of Johnson County Middle School should have gotten most outstanding wrestler. He is a good kid and a phenomenal wrestler. He will be a high school state champ for JCHS.

the wrestling here was pretty tough and the region has been shook up a bit with some of the results here today.

what about Jammie Kestner and Anthony Patrick from Johnson Central ? Kestner wrestles 130 and Patrick wretles 135.

Kestner will be in the finals against Howard @ 130. Kestner won the Tates Creek Invitational and the Bourbon County Tourney @ 130. Who is Kilburn ?

130 it will be howard vs kestner i aslo think travis scott will be in the finals with winchester but thanks for the help with the other weight classes if you disagree tell me why because kestner is ranked on rebel rankings and travis scott is freshman but has placed at ever wrestling match jchs has been to except wsaz and gurndy at tci got 3rd or 2nd at fairland 2nd at jchs hoilday classic 2nd bourdon county classic 2nd he has wrestled very well is super strong and with a little more experience under his belt could be very dangers wrestler in years to come just what i think let me know a little more about kilburn at 130 and lyons at 145

johson central had two placers, at 103 corey spencer got 3rd Anthony patrick got 6th corey won his last match 13 to 0 anthony had the number three seed anthony beat him earlyer in the day but lost in the finals to him. Sheldon clark 125 steven marcum placed 5th, 130 brandon howard 3rd ryan kelly placed 5th hw john wells won his first two matchs but got hurt and could not finsh.

This weekend at the Bourbon County Classic. What did you all think of the wrestling at this tournament????? Johnson Central won the tourney , and had 5 first place wrestlers. 103- Cory Spencer 119- Ryan Greene 130- Jammie Kestner 135- Anthony Patrick 189- Ryan Kestner They also had 4 or 5 second place finishers, 3 or 4 third place, and 2 fourth place finishes. This team is coming along nicely. they are young but th4y are getting experience and learning.
