So, doesnt any body think Duncan Caudill might place in the region??? lol just wondering.

I think the refs in region 8 were pretty good, I didn't see very much arguing or any bad calls.

No I dont have any ideas about it. I am however offended that Sheldon Clark would be called out on this, when there are different schools who have more kids that stay back than SC!!! (there is a another thread on kentucky wrestling right now naming one) but nothing is said about any other schools. If a person keeps their child back just for sports, that is stupid. There is other reasons for holding your child back.

Trent just for the record your full of crap!!! You will name Sheldon Clark when all kind of other schools hold kids back. They are several schools just in our region who have more hold backs than SC. And I also know for a fact that several schools in the Louisville are have several hold backs on their team. You need to be more informed before you start calling people out by name. It makes you look ignorant. And to act like people hold their children back for wrestling is even more ridiculous. Just get your facts right before you start running your mouth on SC.

Why would Harlow want to wrestle 215 when he would have to go up against Ryan Kelly in the region?

I think the sizes run a little small.

Another big factor that has not been mentioned is our kids have to go nationals without their coach. I know that other coaches from different schools can coach but they dont know what another wrestler can do. This weekend in on particular match we couldnt find anyone to coach one of our matches, so we just had to pull a stranger into our corner. This is rediculous!!!! Other states could have their own coaches, and they could not understand why Kentucky wrestlers had to have other people besides their own coach in their corners.

Well... I didnt think the officating was very good. Refs should never deciede the outcome of a match, I am not a Wayne County fan, but the ref cost Daniels his match. That kid was a senior and he lost because of stupid calls. I agree that stalling needs to be called but it was rediculous how many times it was called in this tournement. Stalling was called so much that if you sprawed that was stalling , riding legs was stalling, sprawling is a wrestling technique to counter a shot, not a stalling tactic. In my opinion it was over called this weekend. Does anyone else feel this way?

J.J. Jude is not 16 he just turned 15 last week. Hes is just a good wrestler!
