The best 119 that weekend was from Reitz. Nathan Jones a sophmore wrestled very well. I think he pinned at least 8 maybe 9 times.
I'm a little biased with Reitz, but I have to disagree with UC 112 about the takedown on Kempf and UC. Kempf was out of bounds on his butt with his hands locked around UC back and waist. Yes UC was inbounds, but if it was in the center of the mat they would not have awarded a takedown YET. It would have been a stalemate or UC would probably work up to a takedown, but since they went out of bounds it still was not a takedown. Kind of like having a wizzard in defending a takedown. The ref was a state champ during high school at harrison high school. He definately knows when someone has control in a takedown situation. The match was a great one and if they ever met again It would be a toss up. UC has a great team and they will go far this year. Good luck and see you next year at the Harrison Duels.
