Just for your info Dakota has not weighed 120 ever this wrestling season, as a matter of fact he has not weighed above 110 in a long time. He has wrestled 103 and made that weight three times this year at away sites and wrestled and won, as a matter of fact he has wrestled well and not had many points sored on him this year. He does his weight management the way it is to be done; the correct way, only the Lord knows what will happen in the future but for someone who has not wrestled that many years he sure is doing a great job. I do not think it is good for someone to lie like they did here. But I do understand when people get upset they say things they should not, so Hopefully the Lord will help us all.

As to the question about a team spanking another, yes Sheldon Clark was without two wrestlers who could possibly be in the state finals or placing at the least, and Letcher was also without 7 of there starters do to football. But St. X looked very good at this event.

I talked to coach Dingus last night and he said that there is not going to be a wrestling tournament at Bourbon County this year, do to Basketball conflicts. He said that hopefully in the future they will again host a tournament.

Letcher County has a wrestling gym. It is an old basketball gym that is totally a wrestling gym now. It has 4 locker rooms, a weight room, 2 study table rooms and a laundry room. The mats stay down year round.

Letcher County Is trying to have a few tournaments this year. The dates as of now look to be Nov. 24th and Dec. 27th. If any team could make these events, just reply to this topic.

Letcher County had 8 wrestlers there. It was a great run tournament. LCC had 7 medal winners and still left the gym by 3pm. I would encourage everyone to try and make it next year.

The Tournament next Sat at Letcher County Central has to be postponed due to the fact most of their wrestlers will be wrestling in Myrtle Beach. So sorry for the inconvenience but a date will be set in the next few weeks for a make up. Thank you and I hope everybody is having a wonderful summer.

Region 8 Duals at Letcher County Central on Jan. 12th 2008 will have the two best teams that day wrestle under the spotlight. This is taking place in the new gym as well, not the wrestling gym so it should be wonderful. Region 8 teams hope a lot of people will come and watch.

Kincer (Letcher County) will also be at 103 next year.
