Let's see what happens at GRC after the Girls Region basketball tournament. I would venture to say they will cut down the nets, have a all Region team presentation, and a trophy presentation

Josh Ashbrook, 174 for Campbellsville, was named the Mid-South Conference wrestler of the week. He defeated #8 Cozy Butzer of Notre Dame this past Saturday in OT.

I believe this year Region 7 will have an assigning secretary. If that is so you would have to go through them to get officials
-
Campbellsville High School had a program up till like 2000 I believe
-
I have heard talk about Grant County adding a program. Where would they go, 6 or 7. Both regions are already fairly large

Pace dominated too. Harlow just seemed like he could not handle Pace's size. Pace had Harlow on his back at the end of the match

Wrestling officials in KY have started the KWOA, (Kentucky Wrestling Officials Association) one of the many things they have done is create a wrestling officials rating sheet. I know at the beginning of the season they were being handed out at tournaments. If the coaches would fill these out at tournaments there could be more feed back. I know at one tournament with several teams and about 5 officials only 2 grade sheets where turned in

The ref was letting them wrestle. Yes it looked like they were getting rough with each other. But hey this is wrestling, it a rough sport. There is a fine line on U/R and Ray was at that line. It looked like the problem was not with the official. Seemed Ray had a problem with the asst ref. I also think that the coach made the right decision. Even though if you look at the team scores it may have cost them first place. Because with the new rule Ray would have to miss the next 2 events I believe

Didn't really look like questionable calls to me. They were both wrestling pretty rough though. It seem liked it all happen when Ray got called for locking hand twice in the same sequence of moves. Seemed like he lost his cool and was talking to the referee. Then at the end of the period the coaches forfeited the match. Only thing that sucks about that was LaRue finished in second by 2 point. If he would have won that match they win the whole thing

Can we get more details on the 189 match, was was the score when the pin happened? What period?
-
Anybody know of any teams that are not going to make it tomorrow?
-
Can't say it any better, if you don't want to be pinned. Stay off your back

Yea but I think you have to be a coach to log-in and view the info -
Well not 100% on that, he was in blue in white and Walton has the same colors. But he wrestled at Montgomery middle school tournament on Saturday. From what I seen he has the chance to be a great wrestler
-
He was wrestling this past week with Tweenleholf (sp) Simon Kenton's feeder program

I just came across a great website of Harrison County High School head coach, Russell K. Riegel. If you know him, check out the site. http://www.russriegelfieldhouse.com/

I dont think you could have anything because a lot of kids will be playing there fall sports at the time of the Kentucky Fair
-
I have heard of a tournament at Bourbon Co on July 11th. I am working on getting all the details but keep that date in mind if you are in the area. This is just 2 weeks before the Bluegrass State Games!!
-
Who is the Head coach, and will they be in Region 6
-
It will be a USA wrestling event I believe
-
How many plan on going and weighing in on Friday?
-
So any new updates on what the rule change is going to be?
-
I have wrestled freestyle once in my life, but I would like to be able to get to know the rules and see more of it in our area.
-
I know we all have gone back and fourth on the 5 match rule. I believe this is a rule that the state would NOT be able to change. I think that is a rule that is nation wide. I think the change might have something to do with coaching kids after state.
