the 16 man bracket is def. better than 32 man bracket. The only bad thing about the 16 man is that u only had to weigh in once which gave some kids that didnt cut much a disadvantage. Some of the other kids in the same weight would be cuttin the night before and then blimp up to about 15 lbs. over the 2nd day of state.

wow looks like i just got told lol.........i still dont think ashbrooke is that good ( i think he competes well cuz he is very big for his weight class and strong), i do think him and miller both could give peace a really good match and maybe even beat him.

miller improved by leaps and bounds since then and ashbrooke is to inconsistant with his wrestling cuz he got beat by warner very badly at the begining of the year ( cuz he was suppose to be "sick") then he just basically stalls his way through every state tourny he wrestles in.

i would like to see a round robin between peace, ashbrook, and miller but i dont think morlatt is close to those 3.

i odnt see how u have issac ervin ahead of matt miller? miller is way stronger then he is and i dont think that would even be close

I think it would be a very close match, not an intense one tho, because Warner is not an intense wrestler. I would have to go with Peace though. Peace has matured and hit his physical peak. He was runner up as a sophmore, which is aweosme, and he placed second at sophmore nationals. But i think Warner will breeze thru 135. Peace might have his hands full with Miller tho, who is also a very strong wrestler.

Lewis will be lucky to get top 5 if he dont step up his game.........He should never have lost to the Trinity kid. Voth and Lewis will be interesting because form what i saw Voth is not very good on his feet and thats where LEwis is the most dangerous. Conditioning will be a factor tho, and if Lewis wrestles like he did saturday i think hes gonna have a rough state tourny.

Regardless you guys should've been able to plug a few of those guys in to beat a team like North, not taking anything away from them. But having 7 people hurt? did u guys get in a bus wreck or something?

I think Embree is the fastes heavyweight, and Mark Jones can be quuick if he wnats to be.............but Baily and FUller both look like they are in concrete when they wrestle

St.x wrestled back in the day of the 16 man bracket so there is no way of telling how many of them wouldve been in the 7th and 8th place matches. I personally think South Oldam was the best team i have ever seen and i think 13 placers is pretty amazing so i think they would win it.

What i would like to see is a rematch of Paul Dunbars Zach Brewer V.s Central Hardins Joe Berrow And also I would like to see Joe carr Jr. V.s. Issac Knable

Im pretty sure Smith got 4th and Carr got stuck in the finals by the Mater Dei 112 who is ranked 2nd in Indiana. It was a really close match up until that point tho

Joe handled him pretty well for being outsized by a lot. Joe beat him 3-0 but Joe was controlling the match, Baily got tired.

I dont think Jones or Starks can make 171. Starks wrestled 215 at bluegrass games and Jones was always hard pressed to make weight last year. And in my opinion Rupp would pin Baker or beat him pretty easily

Well you pretty much answered why you arent top 15, 19th or 20th the past 4 years.............You all have yet to place top 15. You have to earn respect in wrestling, its never just given to u.

I disagree with a few choices here. Shane Parks will beat Adam Carr next year. If Lewis can go all 3 periods he will beat Voth. No way Veach will beat Peace. Sheenan i dont think is capable of placing top 4. At 145 i think ervin is better than jackson, and also i dont think condon is capable of top 4. I dont think saunders will beat banks. Wolsifer is better than cooper and i dont think he will lose to him. Baker has had trouble with injuries so i dont know if he will make top 4. The rest looks good i guess. lol

It really doesnt matter if you look at rankings or not because everyone knows who is a pretty good wrestler in kentucky. I mean your not gonna go into a match with Harrison Courtney, Jacob Murton, or Richard Starks and not know who they are regardless if u have looked at the ranking sheet. I love the rankings. If a kid sees his name in the rankings it will give him so much confidence b/c its happened to me and i know how it feels to make the rankings for the first time. Now i dont need rankings because i already know whos a good wrestler or not. Most of the time the quality of the wrestler goes with the quality of the team. So if you are wrestling a school with a good program chances are that the kid is going to be good.
