  1. Music is great especially for times when you are doing calisthenics and when you want to pick up the pace. It doesn't need to be on 24/7 but there are times it adds a little more motivation when used in moderation. It can also be used as a "reward" for practicing hard or turned off as reinforcement when the kids aren't focused.

  5. From Yappi

Mark your calendar for Sunday ,November 6th @ Oakhills HS

Cincinnati Wrestling Club along with the cooperation of Oak Hills High School is proud to announce a FREE clinic will be held November 6th featuring Olympic Gold Medalist "Henry Cejudo" along with 2x NCAA Champion Tommy Rowlands and tentatively JD Bergman and Reece Humphrey along with a few others currently being worked on.

At this time the session times have not been established. We will have 5-6 mats on the main floor to hold as many wrestlers as possible. All ages are welcome. This clinic will be at no charge to anyone and open to all Cincinnati area wrestlers and coaches. Plenty of seating for spectators and concessions will be available thru out the event.

I'm not sure who will be allowed to attend, but hopefully they will allow KY kids to attend. It does mention "open to all Cincinnati area wrestlers and coaches"

  6. Has anyone seen this movie? It seems to have gotten decent reviews. Most movies with any wrestling of any kind are just way too corny to watch.

    http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1606392/

"Disheartened attorney Mike Flaherty (Giamatti), who moonlights as a high school wrestling coach, stumbles across a star athlete through some questionable business dealings while trying to support his family. Just as it looks like he will get a double payday, the boy's mother shows up fresh from rehab and flat broke, threatening to derail everything."
