USA Wrestling Preseason Nationals - Registration Opens Tomorrow!!!

Registration for the USA Wrestling Preseason Nationals opens tomorrow (Aug. 1 at 5 p.m. (EST).

The event, held over two days for the first time this year, has sold out the past two years, so early registration is encouraged. Only the first 1,500 registered wrestlers will be accepted for both divisions.

Wrestling will take place at the UNI-Dome in Cedar Falls, Iowa, on Nov. 3-4. High school age competitors will take to the mats on the first day, with wrestlers grades 8 and below competing Nov. 4.

This is the first time the event will not be held the same date as the Super 32 Tournament, so big numbers are expected in the high school division. Thirty-one states were represented in 2011, so there will be great competition from across the country.

Places will be wrestled out to eighth in the high school division and to sixth in the middle school and grade school divisions in this double-elimination folkstyle tournament.
