ptrsn 1 Report post Posted April 2, 2009 thanks for the kind words turl. are your districts always on MLK weekend every year?
turk 7 Report post Posted April 3, 2009 Actually this is the first year we're going to a district then regional format. We voted on what weekend to hold it on, and it should be this same weekend every year. In KY middle school kids can wrestle varsity too, so we try and have the qualifying tournaments not overlap and this is the best weekend we could come up with. ptrsn 1 Report post Posted November 5, 2009 We would love to have a couple KY teams in the tournament this year. We have 3 from WV and 1 from GA. Also, we would accept individual wrestlers if they met one of the following criteria: KENTUCKY-Top 4 Kentucky Middle School State Championships-Top 6 at Ohio Tournament of Champions (Junior or Schoolboy or Cadet) If anyone thinks we should consider other tournaments for criteria let me know. Results of the tournament need to be able to be verified online for us to use them. Entry Fee for an independent wrestler would be $35 and would include: Entry, All you can eat breakfast, all you can eat pizza, 2 hot dogs, 4 drinks, sno cone, & a tournament T-shirt. 1 Coach would also be admitted free and have access to the hospitality room.
