Clarion Opens Season with a Win

Clarion University opened their season by welcoming Eastern Michigan to Tippin Gym Friday night. Eastern Michigan came into the night after posting a 25-16 win over UT-Chattanooga.

The 1,500 Clarion fans in attendance were treated to a 21-12 Clarion win which saw the Golden Eagles win 7 of the 10 weight classes.

Notes: Two years ago EMU won and last year the two teams had a draw.
