Weight Classes*, **,***,**** 11-12 65, 70, 75, 80, 85, 90, 95, 100, 110, 120, open 8-10 40, 45, 50, 55, 60, 65, 70, 75, 80, 85, 90, 100, 110 open 5-7 35, 40, 45, 50, 55, 60, 65, 70, 75, open*refer to bylaw 7**no individual weight class shall contain more than (8) wrestlers. If a weight contains more than (8) wrestlers it must be broken down into smaller increments with the criteria being age first and then weight.***any weight class with 5 or less will be wrestled as a round robin****if the result of breaking a weight down into a bracket of 5 or less it must then be wrestled as a round robin Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
SpartanMom 0 Report post Posted May 10, 2007 I personally think we need to go with the 5-6, 7-8, 9-10, 11-12 divisions--there is a big maturity level between an 8 year old and a 10 year old--I would like to see us follow the USA age/weight divisions because I think it allows our children to be more competitive with smaller divisions.
