Well Regions are this weekend at Wayne County. Looks like Wayne will run away with regions this year with a irtual tie for second between Sheldon, McCreary, and Johnson. I look for a good showing of region 8 at states once again this year. Best of luck to all of our region!!!

In a recent dual match between Wayne co. and McCreary the 152 from Wayne Matt Sullivan I believe Pinned Preston Shoopman.  He really controled the whole match so it was not a defensive pin or anything.  I would keep an eye on him come regions

I thought the shoopman kid wrestled a kid named winchester??  anyway the best I remember shoopman was up 16 to 10 until the last round when he got pinned??  I could be wrong but don't think so.

the shoopman kid did wrestle sullivan; however shoopman was up in points until the pin in the last round.  my opinion is if shoopman was 100% that night he would have dominated.  maybe we'll see a rematch at regions.

why is dillon rated at 215?  I thought he was heavyweight.  I think Ashland's 215 is a kid named Bayless(?).  I don't know about his record, but Bayless looks like a beast.  215 is a tough weight, but I bet he's top five at region.
