Wrestlers handle Henderson:Do well at Ryle

The wrestling Braves had a busy week defeating Henderson County 75-6, and placing second at Ryle amongst great competition.

The only loss to Henderson County came at the 119 lbs weight class.

Matt young fell to Brice Alexander in a time of 2:46. Young was ahead and Alexander caught him in a head-lock.

Adam Carr, Jake Wempe, Carson Chambliss, Josh Willett, Joe Belt, Jarrad Burke, Diante Wright, Levi Griggs, and Zach Duckworth all registered pins in the victory.

The Braves finished behind South Dearborn by 37 points to take home second place in a very tough 10-team tournament.

Jarvis Elam (103) placed first in the tournament with three pins, a technical pin, and a decision. Elam
