BearcatWrestling 0 Report post Posted August 18, 2016 The 2017 Ed Cressel Classic will take place at Virginia High School in Bristol, VA on January 13 & 14. This year we are doing a two day format and switching to a 32 man double elimination bracket. We have a premiere facility to host a tournament of this size and this will be our 6th year of hosting this tournament. The top 8 wrestlers will receive awards and we will be giving out unique awards to the winners of each weight class. Top 3 teams will receive a plaque and there will be 2 most outstanding wrestler awards given (upper and lower weights). We do a great job of running tournaments and if you have any questions about our ability I have several coaches you may contact to ask their opinion: Tim Marshal (Head coach at Tennessee High in Bristol, TN, Kevin Spurlin (Head coach at Galax HS in Galax, VA) and Michael Bell (Robert E.
