2013 USA Wrestling Cliff Keen Folkstyle Nationals

USA Wrestling’s Cliff Keen Folkstyle Nationals is final individual folkstyle event on the year. Last year the event featured over 2,500 wrestlers from 40 states. This event is the first stage of USA Wrestling’s Triple Crown (folkstyle, freestyle, and Greco national championships). Here are the event details for this year:

2013 USAW Cliff Keen Folkstyle Nationals

Where: UNI-Dome in Cedar Falls, Iowa

When: April 5-7

Who: Bantam (2005-2006)

Intermediate (2003-2004)

Novice (2001-2002)

Schoolboy (1999-2000)

Cadet (1997-1998)

Junior (Born 9/1/93 and after plus enrolled in grades 9-12)

Veterans (Born 1988 and before)

Awards for the top eight (8) place winners in Bantam through Junior weight classes, along with double points for Intermediate through Junior in the Future Olympian Rankings. Awards for the top three (3) place winners in the Veterans weight classes.

All wrestlers must have an active USA Wrestling Athlete membership. Event will be capped at 1,300 Cadets and Juniors and 1,500 Kids and Veterans. USA Wrestling does not charge for changing weight classes, even at weigh-ins, so sign up early to guarantee your spot in the event.
