IN ALL HONESTY MURPHY NOT GETTING THE OW WAS AN INJUSTICE BEST MATCH OF THE NIGHT AGAINST WHAT LOOKED TO ME TO BE THE MOST TECHNICALLY SOUND WRESTLER IN THE ROOM I SURE IF THEY WRESTLER 10 TIMES IT WOULD PROBABLY BE 5 TO 5 MURPHYS LOOSER STYLE WORKED IN THE END BUT IF I WERE A COACH I WOULD WANT MY GUY WRESTLING LIKE JOHNSON HE WAS IN STANCE AND WRESTLED NEARLY PERFECT BUT MURPHY WHO LET HIM LOOSE WITHOUT MUCH FIGHT TURNED IT ON IN ULTIMATE OVERTIME FOR THE WIN THAT WAS AWESOME ONLY THING I SAW WAS MURPHY MADE A MISTAKE JOHNSON DID NOT CASH IN ON. Some ky studs missing Smith Moore Cornett and some others for various reasons .The upper weights in this tournament will not fare as well at Swowca although Elders 220 has some skill and is a go getter Very impressive .

Not knowing which ky teams have the full lineups with firepower that can hang with anyone I'm thinking and hoping Union brings enough horses to trample any Buckeyes with intentions of crossing the river and "cherry picking "this tournament nothing against anyone just my personal pet peeve on the knocks on my home state and it's people in general although I have a few wrestlers I like on Moe and Elders team If CC isn't deep enough I want to see Union take it all despite them having maybe 1 person from there foolish enough to be anti Nature Boy lol of course I'm sure there's an Anti Nature Boy cult on every team .

Moeller is way down with this being the first time in years they do not get an Iron Man Invite they may have a couple individuals shake up some classes but I doubt they can Beat Elder or could Beat a full Union Squad .Murphy Johnson match should be good And I'm wondering how The WV team looks down a few of its studs watching them closely to see if they can upend the Camels in the region ,Seeing both their practices I was pleased and surprised that Coach Roth runs a tight orderly ship much like Coach Bankamper but without as many deckhands lol It will be a tall order for little WV to take the throne from the bigger Schools in NKY particularly the Camels .WVs heavy could be anywhere from not placing to a state champ depending on his use of time remaining in the year and they have powerhouse kids like the bigger schools .CC has the coach of coaches in NKY and studs as well Wells Yenter Carter Kechum and the Camels vs Smith Roth Moore and the crew at WV.its going to be a shootout . Rivalry good for the sport I would hate to see anyone dethrone the Camels and there are kids I couldn't cheer against on both teams Bankamper is the king of coaches in NKY wrestling and i doubt anyone ever matches his career but WV has some headhunters in charge and some kids who are paying dues and covering every angle and a few coaches I wouldn't want to have to battle if they had the bodies in the room to work with. Not sure what Ryle has in the mix I know they lost some studs and I know SK has some studs if not the man this year in KY .I'm barred from tournaments so I will have to comment on results or sneak in and get firsthand knowledge .

120 will be interesting with most likely multiple future state champs in the mix.

Not sure what anyone was hoping ?I don't think anyone expected Austin to beat Snyder and I damn sure don't think anyone expected him in on Snyder first or to be that close for half a match it's all good 3 college losses to 3 top 10 guys and THE GUY on the world not the ending I'm looking for is right the ending I'm looking for is him on The podium one March and I think that's going to happen

A lot of studs on both teams even in back up positions ,Flynn and Assad for Mizzou but joey Lavalle from Mizzou looks to be on fire to me he is a scoring machine nonstop ,I look for him to score big for Mizzou .And I Look for Austin to do as he always does do his best improve learn and keep Going until he is a College All American .He has done all he can with what he has had to work with I think he may the strongest athlete at Mizzou and his time is coming.

Lavion has been battling injury as well not 100 percent sure he is there .Mizzou is beat up a but Austin has a nice shiner from last week and a few knots but he's not injured he's fairly durable hopefully he stays that way when he hits the Monsters .

MICKLUS FROM Mizzou is out and Manley has not wrestled due to injury neither has McGhee but he says he is wrestling so an A A and another stud out for Mizzou .Both Rosters healthy I think Mizzou matches up well and may have the edge but down guys it's hard to say BO and Snyder did not wrestle this weekend but I'm sure they will be on the mat Thurs.

They looked good Austin lost to #7 Brooks Black without giving up a td had a tech a fall a 6 to 0 win and a 4 to 0 loss and looked to be improving but will need some tweaking to start taking out some top 10 to 20 ranked guys.Brock looked awesome as usual 9 ky state titles walking around in Cedar Falls this weekend lol.

On the flip side of that fans need to act like adults not mobs

From what I hear Walton Verona were down some studs as well perhaps it could have been a. Lot. Different . And a schools history of being over dramatic or having intense coaches is no excuse for being over dramatic or over the top or pretty much a whiney .........of a coach . Being intense being led by genius coaches is one thing Woodford now is another .

No set up shots work for guys with height / length advantages or super speed but still bad habits ,More brawling will actually lead to better shots because you are moving pushing and pulling your opponent getting them off balance jmo.

Don't take this the wrong way but that's kind of a funny statement .80 percent of the season is after Xmas .But I agree Santa better hand out some takedown defense and some set up technique . On a serious note I think that's one of the biggest weaknesses with ky wrestlers they do not set up shots no push pull v block snap shoot nothing most just pace and dive in .

Battle between CC and WV for Northern Supremacy .Just saying CC has been top dogs in NKY for a while and Along with Ryle and SK they have been the dominant teams in NKY overall the NKY teams are not ranking as high as normal but there are still a lot of very good kids scattered ,State DUALS ARE COOL WOULDNT IT BE neat to see regional duals best kid at each weight in each region ,That would be toooo sweet.
