AS FOR REED I mean the kid trains on His own lifts runs drills and whatever else he does on his own outside of a room without partners or coaches He does what he can and doesn't worry about what he can't ,and that's the key .No excuses it seems kids in KY would be more out to do the same the way KY gets drug through the Mudd and everyone worries about not having great rooms or partners ,just do what you can and sometimes it's even better than great rooms or great partners ,Take account for yourself not what you do not have there will always be someone better equipped more money more partners whatever But there can only be one number 1 so shoot to be that no matter what .

I DONT KNOWS HIM EXTREMELY WELL BUT HE IS ON MY FB AND I DOUBT "ANYONE " OUT TRAINS REED. Seems a very good and dedicated young man .The kind who will do well in a college setting .

The NHSCA named Austin Myers their Wrestling athlete of the year for 2015 .Austin should be very proud and humbled to be put with a group that includes wrestlers like Steve Mocco, J.Jaggers, Dustin Schlatter ,Sponsellor,Grey,Clagon,and all the rest . Bias as I am I say he earned it from day one and more so every year making the sacrifices and putting in the effort few people could comprehend .Have to say I hate to see his KY reign end but looking forward to seeing him at the next level and seeing him make that jump .

Frankrone is ranked higher than any of them and Reed is much higher than anyone is giving him credit for he out trains pretty much everyone on the list and is just lacking in wrestling experience ,He would have problems making waves and proving how good he could be because of lack of talent and coaching around him .KYs love for their lightweights shines as always . Wells should Def be in the top 20?

Austin has been selected as one of the final six male all sports MVPs of the year by LaRosa's He will be attending their yearly banquet this Sunday where they will announce their male and female athlete of the year .A nice honor for him as he had friends from the west side of Cincinnati who have won this award in the past and as a young football player and wrestler growing up on the west side of cincy it was a goal of a lot of local kids to one day be one of the LaRosa's MVPS the areas top Football Basketball Baseball Track Wrestling and all other sports best athletes are given credit for their accomplishments by LaRosa's who help many local area youth sports raise funds for their teams and kids . A great honor getting his Dave Shults Award this week for KY as well ,his name goes on the list of the nation's best High School wrestlers in the wrestling Hall of fame in Oklahoma ,stillwater.

THANKS ,Don as one of his many coaches over the years and his first ever club team coach ,Congrats and much thanks to you .

Not sure about your situation but my son had a D1 school change his offer a couple days before he was to report ,it happens I guess but it's some dirty stuff ,oh well he beat their wrestler when he faced him and I think they are scratching their head thinking they killed two birds they had with one stone .oh well we will see them again . Good luck Campbellsville has Wrestling .Glad KY has some good teams .

FINAL 2015 WIN RANKINGS ARE OUT .

That's what I meant last yr ,meaning 13-14 not 14-15 this yr /season .As I said he was the most Dominant but someone saying both were by far the top two when there were 4 good guys in the class is disrespectful and to Smith and Mathews who were very very competitive And as was stated Cornett lost to Mathews at districts as well as in the regular season and had close matches every go with him .Bottom line Tyler won the last two years Cornett was third this year and improved a lot but was not a top four kid the year before .I said all season 182 was the toughest class same as the year before ,I see it not being as deep next year and although it would be a great finals it would be a shame to see Frankrone and Cornett both at the same weight again .

Now everyone knows why they stayed home.

I see flow #1 220 goes down 8 to 1 to a kid who beat Ready from Mich 14 to 6 Ready whom Austin was on the way to teching when he pinned him in the beginning of the second.Politics like I said no way a kid who hasn't beaten a ranked wrestler in over a yr and a half should be ranked 1 over a kid with Austins record .but that's Flo And Intermat .Win called as did I .Doesn't matter Titles over rankings lol.

That's stupid .Frankrone was the most dominant but even he had a loss last yr to Smith and Cornett had losses and close matches with Mathews all year .

Serious or not ,my point was doing Central Regionals vs a folkstyle dual tournament would be much more beneficial to someone headed to Fargo where you will wrestle freestyle and or Greco .Never heard of anyone headed to Fargo just for kicks it's not the place to go for summer fun it is fun but it is meant for the best of the best . ANYONE WHO KNOWS THE SPORT WOULD ADVISE GETTING SOME WORK IN IN THE OTHER STYLES IF HEAD ED THERE. AND I HAVE A BIT OF EXPERIENCE AND COMMON SENSE AND RESULTS TELL ME MY THOUGHTS ARE RIGHT ALL WRESTLING IS GOOD FOR THE SPORT BUT IT'S NOT ROCKET SCIENCE TO FIGURE OUT THAT PRACTICE AND REAL MATCHES IN THE DIFFERENT STYLES WILL LEAD TO BETTER UNDERSTANDING AND PLACINGS IN THOSE STYLES . OF COURSE THERE'S THE REAL UNDERLYING POLITICAL BS THAT SEEMS TO BE AN ISSUE AS WELL .HOPE EVERYONE HAD FUN IN CENTERVILLE LOL

That would be a huge Bonus South Regionals were this weekend and I think there are a couple more as well.

I'm sure he will do well he is one of the best in the state without ?. It's a shame that people do not have a better grasp of what is important in the sport as far as tournaments go ,I do not doubt the ability or courage of KYs wrestlers I do however have serious doubts about their knowledge of which tournaments they need to do or compete in not only to help their state but to better prepare their selves for a tournament like Fargo let alone the fact that it's a totally different style . Once again I am left shaking my head at how naive some people are . I HOPE THE TOURNAMENT IN CIRCLEVILLE WAS A BIG HELP TO EVERYONE ONCE AGAIN . AND BRING ON THE HITS ON MY NEGATIVE COLUMN .LOL WHAT A WASTE .
