8224 , I asked if you were there because your comments about the tournament implied you were and anyone who was could not have missed the red match unless they were on the far end of the arena . And no one was put down saying red was beyond good and Hall was Hall is far from a put down , rather some nice props . As for the comment about some of the better kids who will get a lot of hype come regular season being MIA in this a tournament that I have seen earn coaches awards at the state tournament and athletes much accolades giving it great bearing in the state as one of the few major national tourneys KY attends in force , I would stick by it , I think some of the other heavy hitters were missed and I am not alone in this kind g it was a shame they were not there . Anyone who goes to a tourney and sees who I tracts and how they interact with the wrestlers knows who is who and what type of person they are , Not going to comment on every instigators pot stirring post , the black sheep can bahh all they want the Lions will simply shut them up usual, by the jugular. I hope the pride can discern the difference center between a lion trying to be the king of the jungle and a Hyena trying to skulk around and weaken the pride by knocking down the Alpha . Enough on the subject . I assume win or lose this Yrs Fargo competitors will earn the state at least a glance be it from controversy those wishing for losses or wins or simply from the College coaches who will be interested in seeing how someone who will be a four time champ will do in styles no one has seen him wrestle I'm Yrs . IN other words the Lion will bring meat to the pride like no other in the up coming year there will be more hyenas and pot stirring Carrion eating scavengers than ever before , the Lion will not change his course regardless of any win or loss those outside his pride wish to exploit in order to see his pride dissolved and him dethroned . I HAVE TALKed tHE LION INTO STALKING PREY IN Fargo while at the same time he has chosen to pursue his other endeavors at home as well . A bigger task than anyone in this sport in this state has ever attempted I would say , and I still say he gets it done he is searching for the elusive double I think he crushes it beneath his mighty Claws the Lion (Attacks The Mat) ATM .

Seriously were you there , red got straight up 5 point thrown and his coach/ went looney tunes I'm not going to comment because I k ow there were others who saw it and even more KY fans who saw our guys get slammed worse without a word from the refs , UNBELIEVABLE .As a matter of fact I know our coaches had it taped .would love for everyone to see it !!!

Yes and had anyone else raised the fuss red did after his kid got taken down to his back they would have been ejected without hesitation and no points would have been changed like the match I saw red wrestle , on the other hand I saw the most blatant slam on a kY kid I have ever seen go without any call by the ref , had a kY coach / dad ran on the Mat yelled at the ref as red did they would have been escorted out . POLITICS AT IT'S FINEST EVERy kY FAN THERE SAW IT . AND WHAT A LIGHTER WEIGHT DOES IN ONE TOURNAMENT MAY BE BEyond NORMAL WHAT A 220 does 3 Yrs in a row in my opinion was extraordinary nationally ranked kids and state champs were beaten by ATM every yr but as I said they can use whatever criteria they want and change it up the next yr .doesn't matter I doubt they see a 220 go through that tournament again like ATM did the past 3 Yrs and the first two he did it in the gold pool the Virginia kid who also beat the Minnesota champ as Austin did , was pinned in seconds last yr by ATM , As for all the gr fr accolades this is folkstyle but fr gr season is upon us ATM will be shooting for a double AA another first for his state I'm sure he hits some roadblocks being in KY without any fr gr training in Yrs but I think he will surprise . Hopefully we see a rematch between ATM and the sole person who has beaten him in HS I will take ATM in a landslide in greco and I think fr would be a great match between them good luck turning ATM . A nice tourney for red and hall is hall , But I still thought the body of work at the tourney would get him some honors , regardless as I said I doubt anyone his size matches his record there against the. caliber of kids he wrestled . A great tournament that's over now and it's on to the next one ! And Heidorf was straight up slammed right on his head with nothing done about it that tournament is a major accident waiting to happen .glad Heidorf came back and won , He and ATM both going 7-0 kY still had some studs floating around even with some names who will get a lot of hype when the season rolls around MIA at this tourney which has been a highlight for the state the last couple Yrs , And yes ATM playing spring ball trying track and headed to Fargo could have said I'm setting this one out particularly after what was not his best showing a couple weeks ago but as he did his fresh yr he went where he was needed and wouldn't have missed it for the world .

I don't think a 5 to 0 stomping of a staller can hurt anyone ATM beat a Minnesota champ who beat a 2x Colorado champ in this tourney You don't have to pin everyone in 18 sec just a couple , as I said a 220 going undefeated at nat duals 3 Yrs running to me was easily as impressive as the two who won Co ows but as is with ows they use whatever criteria they want for that particular yr .wrestling dad's comment meant more to ATM than the ow . He will get his at the state tournament using whatever criteria anyone would like to use he could have won three there already and no one could have argued it same as scholastic duals And it looked to me as if ATM had the pin over the Indiana 9th ranked Morrow , good kid good match nevertheless A better run at nat duals than any 220 from any other state that competed there over the last 3 Yrs got to see a different side of ATM he tried to be a leader when it was needed of him deserving of much more respect than he has been shown in some states .

So you pay one entry fee and wrestle as many styles as you want ??

Surprised no mentioned all the illegal slams saw one kY kid get slammed twice once a belly to back straight over on His head and later getting slammed again -no call made - saw and Indiana kid get slammed and his coaches argue the point and get the call but I'm sure if a kY coach would have argued so vigorously he would have been ejected . Who knows ?? With 3 kY teams it was hard to see very many of their matches with all mats going simultaneously , a nice venue

Some great wrestling some looked a bit rusty some a lot rusty it's off season no big deal KY should have a more organized assault on this tournament but they did a great job Heidorf Smith and ATM seemed to try and lead the best they could , proud of ATM undefeated there for 3 Yrs in a row beating state champs every time .Not happy with him not getting an ow when it was shared by two lower class men .A bit disappointing looking at who he has beaten there every yr . Oh well congrats to the kY kids making top ten again .and much thanks to some lesser talked about wrestlers on blue who came through to make it happen.
