Hvy seemed wide open with a clear champ and Pretty clear runner up . 220 seemed same as last yr with a more dominant champ and the same Returning SR runner up a couple of unexpected upsets of kids who have proven their self over and over to be top level . Meaning I saw Tucker lose a couple unexpected and get beat up Pretty good in one he won , a bit tougher than previously thought with the same Two making finals . 195 having a couple undefeateds and fairly close matches all over seemed tough Trevor has been on a down cycle for a few weeks obviously not himself or the same wrestler from earlier in the season , Parrot being very sound and athletic seemed to distance himself a bit , Miller wrestling very well could have just as easily been champ with a twist or turn it call his way . Same for Marrow. 182 seriously - diesel with a lot of buildup and four obvious studs who have us some great matches , Courtney Frankrone was epic and Mathews who had not wrestled Smith who had wins over Courtney and Frankrone proved different people Match up differently with an impressive win over Smith who throughout the year Dominated this class ,probably what I would consider toughest. 170 Meiman . Proved he was the Man in a class that had a few questionable matches , 160 Lampe as expected but not without some drama and challenge . 152 a powerhouse Sr taking his second or third title i think very dominant . 145 I'm lost 138 Fausz 132 Brock 126 very competitive with a surprise ending 120 Boston - Erdman was huge at this weight and should be dominant next yr wherever he goes minus Carr . 113 I am far removed from these weights but it seemed deep 106 same as 113 deep exciting the lower weights with a lot of talent and depth but , not the top end guys like at 120- 138 in the top spot or spots ., This yr 182 seemed to be the most exciting not national level heavy hitters like at 120-138 or 220 , but four who I would say could do well anywhere and a soph champ who has potential to make waves as high as he wants . Toughest class - 182 Toughest to win - 220 Most Depth from top to bottom ? Probably a lighter weight class that I could not determine doubt it's 138 or 132 or 126 or 120 with so many people scattering , 113 had to look inviting so it was probably loaded , and all the best underclassmen guys are usually there or 106 , . Seemed pretty even as far as toughness from too to bottom for different reasons . 182 was the toughest it seemed with four experinced well rounded studs who an actually wrestle anywhere and do well and have done so , but looking at it , the person who seemed to have the most potential the soph Frankrone , won the day . Lightweights are always hard to predict any gaggle of em Can win one week and lose to another stud the next , Of course Smith , Carr and kids like Wells will seperate from the pack shortly I take that back , Carr already has so I will add Erdman in there .

That's Impressive - so ranger give us the reg breakdown who's the toughest reg ????? I know 6 had seven finalists - -4 champs don't know how many placers or points ??

Should have took a pic of all the champs and everyone should have took a pic with Brock , I will miss seeing him a couple times a yr , still think he's better than Valencia , Big Blackwell fan as well , no doubt I will miss Turner from CC a great two sport athlete toughest kid in the tournament - double miniscus surgery mid season and still has a nice state run , and Fausz is irreplaceable in a couple yrs young Wells may be there .

No you don't have the feel of the younger generation my friend you have to remix it dubstep it up and mix it in with some Evil 300 sounding epic stuff , it would work .

Not sure 170 was weak but Mathews the runner up at 182 handled Meiman easily in their match earlier this yr , hats off to Meiman for bumping up though probably that attitude that earned him his title !!!

I hope it's very exciting , of course I want ATM and his partners to go out with some Rings like to see Wells Grazianni and the other younger guys get a ring for their hand , Sparh Wells , Grazziani , Krebs , Moore and all the younger guys along with Mathews and Austin , I think they can do it and I'm Sure Eli and Austin want to go out with a bang two headhunters leading the Camels it's going to be very interesting , Ryle is on the rise and Scott is tough CC doesn't have the advantage of bringing 14 from a weak reg it's a war zone . Starting with three less wrestlers than union And less than x i think they did rathe well I wasn't uoset at all some Didn't do as well as expected but others did better. Not much to complain about .

Yes Austin told me Miller hit a nice throw he thought was Good that was called out .I did see the finals match Parrot is quick and athletic as well as a sound wrestler , no knock on him at all But he wouldn't last a match Trevor had wins over Miller early and didn't last a minute and Mueller had wins over him and it was pretty much the same , Mueller had a bad tournament he did well Every where I saw him except state he just had a couple bad matches . Congrats to Meiman he proved his style could get it done at 170 . Good chance we see him and Mathews battling it out next yr .

Easier to pin the big boys - maybe ,easier to do it off the whistle over and over when they know it's comIng - not so easy at all

Parrots last three matches were 5-3 ,5-3 ,5-1 , Austin had better scores in his last three state finals matches at 220 . Congrats to a great state champ in Parott and an impressive undefeated season , he beat our reg 195 lb champ by 2 , he would not make it to the third period with Austin even with a massive dose of Gamma rays , I doubt he would make it out of the first .

Refs do seem to try and even things out at times it seems to be an unwritten not talked about subject but I have seen them make a bad call for one kid then give the other kid what may be a break later , not good but at least trying to even the scales is honorable of them . Seen it a hundred times

That's military , they get a pass of course , it's not like their parents join the military so their kids can wrestle as youth in KY lol and if they are that into the sport then heck with it let their kids wrestle lol They had some Good kids at state
