I could not find a match in OPC berween the two. But it doesn't mean they haven't wrestled each other. I am also showing Insko never made the drop to 115. By not having 2 weigh in at that weight i do believe he is no longer eligible to drop. He has to remain at 120 now.

I see Meade Co. as favorite to be repeat Regional champs this year. I am pretty sure it will come down to Meade and Larue Co. Both Teams have good line ups but comparing Individual Dual Match ups I have to lean toward Meade Heavily. Large school Meade vs Oldham Trinity vs Woodford

Sorry to hear that. Fern Creek was a tough Team. Does anybody know why the Large School DUALs are not posted in Track wrestling. I saw that the small school is already uploaded and the POOLS have been set. Is the Large School not using Track Wrestling.

You know who really cares where the location is set for the Duals. Last time I checked this thread is to discuss the talent going and individual predictions on which team may come out on top an why. So tired of always seeing bickering about this or that in all the threads posted. Waaa Waaa Waaa, now I understand why Ranger and Dutch are never on here anymore. Everyone needs to refocuse on the main reason why these threads are available. "It is to discus the Wrestling talent in the State and talent it produces". Basically to showcase our wrestlers not their "Parents or Coaches and even Fans" it about them not us.... If I was an outside individual looking in to our State threads I would think there is nothing but crying and bickering in KY. If you even think about replying to this in a smart @$$ way don't even bother because you wont get my dragged into the petty he said or she said games......... Lets move on already and discuss our wrestlers abilities and dedication to the sport of wresting! We owe it to them. They bust their butts everyday and hardly ever ask for anything but respect in return! MIC DROPPED - Enough said and time to move on already!!!!!!

I think the dark horse this year will be MEADE Co. They have beaten some good Top Teams which no one expected and going into the State Duals with a 43-3 record, I think a few upsets are on the way. I call it now, it will be a Meade Co. - Oldham Co. final and winner will be only by 8 points leaning towards Meade. The Ferncreek - Meade County match shows a good perspective why Meade has a chance to come out on top this year.

Meade county pulled it out. They beat ferncreek 45 to 33. It was a battle to the end.

Any news or predictions for Big School Sectional 5. I do believe it is Bullitt Central, Bullitt East, Fairdale, Ferncreek, Iriquios, Meade Co., North Bullitt, PRP, Southern, and Valley. I think it will come down to FernCreek and Meade. My predictions is these two Teams will be the ones to advance to State Duals. Both have almost full line ups and talented wrestlers. Meade has been putting up some high numbers and beaten a some very good Teams already. Ferncreek always competes at the Top of their class and also has talented wrestlers. I can already see a battle coming if these two do meet in the finals. Hate to say it but i can already see some injuries coming out of these duals. Both Teams fight very hard to the end.

My gut feeling is Meade will come out on Top between them and FC. It will come down to one match and a 4 point diffrence. Not sure how healthy each Team is but if they both show up at 100% it will be a battle....

Hunter knoth will not make the drop to 120 this year. He will most likely wrestle JV unless a starter at 126 or 32 is out for injury on Meade.

Meade County beat all the Teams they faced. and went 10-0. Meade had an "average" dual score of 70 over all there apponents over the last 2 days. They did not wrestle Central but did also beat them at their duals 2 days prior. I hope this edited post is more accurate and less offensive. I did not know the word "crushed" was so offensive. My appologies.....

Any updates on wins and losses to include upsets so far today at oldham.

Meade Co. will be at Oldham super duals and from what I hear North Hardin and central hardin, SK and Trigg will also be there.

Does anybody know the deadline (Week #) for all weights to be imputted into OPC.

That is the way i read it too but is it the first seasonal match for that Team or is it for the sport overall. i guess it could be the way you interpret it. This is what is listed on the KHSAA web site. 1) All athletes shall meet eligibility requirements including the development of a set minimum body weight. Only competitors whose minimum weight has been determined using the NWCA online weight management system (including all recording and tracking) are eligible to compete. Athletes without a minimum weight determination may not wrestle in competition or in practice after the first date for competition during the regular season. 2) The minimum weight class for each wrestler shall be determined using the National Wrestling Coaches Association (NWCA) online system between October 15 and the first regular season match. I also did some more looking and Bylaw 23 Section 14 refers to the NWCA Calander date of (Week 21) following Monday. But it does not say this is the must be completed date.

Well I thought i would get the Topic started on initial weight input in OPC. It has been very quiet on the forums lately and I fully understand why. Hoping this will get some discussions going! Anyways after reviewing some of the Team inputs in OPC, I was extremely surprised to see so such weight changes from last year. Some wrestlers grew in size and a lot “shrunk”. It is kind of funny when you compare last year with this year. I sure hope KHSAA also takes notes on these inputs and tracks them very closely.

Does anyone know when the Doors will be open to the public to start seating at John Hardin.

Not sure about that. Saint X is not a public School and also he was out last year due to a shoulder injury. He did not compete in 2014/15. So i think he is G2G. But really I am not sure. I guess it will be up to KHSAA.

I am assuming since he transferred to John Hardin and North Hardin just picked up a Coach, Smallwood would be ineligible this year unless he returns to North Hardin. But i trully do not kno if that is why.

I know me and my son are super excited to see the match ups. Almost his entire wrestling team will be attending. This is going to be a great opportunity for these boys to see what awaits for them and if anything will hopefully entice them to train/practice even harder. I do not see how anyone cannot see this as a positive prestart to the season. Thanks to all those who have set this up. We have to start somewhere to showcase KY HS Wrestling talent, why not here.

I am hearing the same rumor. Just waiting for the NEWSENTERPRISE to do a story on it. Just want to see how they spin the collapse of that program. Also spoke with some of the wrestlers who had wrestled there and most if not all the top Wrestlers have already transferred to new schools. Also have been told B. Leak will not wrestle this year and D.smallwood has transferred to John Hardin. From what i have been told the transfers could be challenged for eligibility if the program remained active at NH. an Region 2 will now only have two to three powerhouse teams. Meade, John Hardin and Larue.
