Here we go coming this Fall,,Friday Night Fights at Crush ,Youth through Hs Matches ,medals and all .Told you we are going to have some fun !!!!!
  2. I thought Mathews would be 170 he's not big enough for 182 at state but would make a nice sised 170 there, Hiero is a Sr with a ton of experience ,i am a realist i like Mathews a lot he is a Freshman AA and can give Hiero a run but i think Hiero goes all out and that includes spending time at Crush with Stephen Myers who will be a different creature all together than last year not setting out and having a solid club setting to get extra training in ,Hiero was the shocker at state last year and i think he wins this year SK needs him and Cooper to win to have a shot and i know how he and his family wants it ,I am a dreamer at heart it will happen for him .Looking deeper into the subject and peoples prejudices Hiero is Hiero he is his own man and he is a good kid who has worked more than most for the sport .If he comes we will be hanging a copy of his state bracket on the wall at Crush .next to the others . Wait a second .....Why the Heck would Canter go 182 he was small last year i thought he certified at 152 ,are you partying or something LOL

Orange singlets ?okay not the Crush i had in mind but it can work .I was thinking more along the lines of some wrestler crushing someone in any number of moves .How about an orange singlet with those awesome mudflap chicks on em now those would be popular . see we are going to have some fun as well.
  4. So where is Fauz going 132 i do not know who Wurth is ?Hiero will do well at 182 i do not know who else will even be there , How could a kid 2 weight classes higher than their brother be little ? So Lampe Polly and Hamilton all at 145 could make it very interesting . Oddly enough with Hiero at 182 it might open up another state title for Nky as i suspect Lane Jones may be at 170 and i am thinking he may get a lot of work in with Stephen at Crush i know Canter is very good though and i am not being disrespectful to anyone just plugging the kids i think will be in our room Stephen and Lane Austin and Trevor and i have heard the Lampes may be there some as well from what i hear our room will be perfect for them .
  5. I did not pay very much attention to 195 last yr after the beginning of the year i am just going off of what i have been told and results ,i did see Bryant speaking on you tube but i did not see his match which seemed rather odd i would be more interested in watching a match than listening to what the wrestler who wins or even hearing what their coach has to say or at least see the match then hear what he has to say Listening to the Trinity faithful at the bluegrass games they held him in very high regard as far as football and Wrestling and some of them have stated very firmly that he can win 220 ,being from Nky of course i know better i am not sure about anyone beating decent kids in the first minute at those weights kids have a tendency to RUN RUN RUN from studs and i know a kid who will be looking to pin pin pin ,oddly enough i read on this site where some were saying 220 was weak last yr but i think that has been proven false .As for Trevor i simply like him i know he will go wherever Austin does not go both are capable of doing well at either 195 or 220 you probably see Trevor and Bryant battling it out for 195 and i think trevor may just be the shocker in this one he will be training a lot with Austin i suspect this next yr and together they may just bring another title back to NKY ,i know that Trinity will move their studs around like they did last yr with Hitchings .the big question will be where will Austin end up im sure he will be loooking ahead at NHSCA again as well as Fargo and he was not a full blown 220 last year still think he stays 220 in prep for a hvy move his upperclassmen yrs to prepare for College . The lighter Lawson will be in the mix for a title and im not sure where Rearic lands in all this but he will be in the mix .i also think some other Jr high kids from NKY may end up making state it is actually one of our goals ,one of mine anyway ,I know i have left out a lot of kids and maybe got some stuff way wrong but i was just guessing and thats all rankings really are educated guesses. either way now it has been a while since the last rankings , Perhaps people could break it down by region rather than state then break it down further ,at this point no one really knows where a lot of kids are going just some good thoughts on a handful of kids and maybe some who wrestled over the summer , Either way kids who spend time in our room are going to kick butt and after state we will be having a lot of brackets hanging on our walls ,and hopefully it will be the new home of Kys newest All Americans as well as its best conditioned and i guarantee its strongest athletes . have to get a plug in ,
  6. Well .while everyone is waiting why doesn't everyone else give it a shot ,if you do not know all the classes just cover the ones you do know , i think Woodford will move way up in the rankings getting three new high placers and a couple very possible champs as far as teams go . the problem is i do not think there will be all the studs at the weights they could go they are becoming very cramped and everyone will be looking at where they can win easiest ,heavy will be a toss up where i think an underdog takes it all 220 could be one of the toughest classes as far as winning it if Bryant, Austin and Trevor Thompson are there but i doubt they are all at this weight and they all probably certify at 195 ,at 195 i see one of them winning it whoever doesnt go 220 ,182or 9 or whatever that class is i have no clue perhaps Hiero and at 170 you have Canter,Jones and Chamberle more than likely i have not seen canter wrestle that much and i have seen Hiero improve a lot over the years i would have to go with Hiero although Canter looked great against Jude but i did not see him do anything extraordinary to make that a big deal other than look like a tank and the freshman AA Mathews could be in the mix around here as well it would be nice to see him go up as there may be a shot at a title in it for someone. 160 i wont comment perhaps a rematch of last years 152 finals ,152 looks like Cooper or the possible matchup of the century ,145 could be cooper if he goes his fargo weight but Hamilton and Polly will probably be there as well all three would make it a very tough class with everyone else there ,138 Jayce Hamilton Polly more than likely Jayce ,132 Jayce Brock Lampe unless Lampe is 38 or 45 who knows ,132 Brock or i havent a clue not sure where Fauz is going but he will be in the mix around this weight ,126 ,Brock Fauz ,killebrew all depends , 120 Boston,113 probably someone scattering 106 Lawson , Of course i only have a slim grasp of who is where and who is who i have not seen all the kids and i know there are a lot more studs out there in ky some i have heard of others i have not Courtney ,Parrot, the other Lampe tons of others who will be in the mix Rearic for sure .i know there used to be another Fahy that wrestled but i have not heard anything about him perhaps he does other sports . Regardless i think the state tournament is going to be better this year than last a lot of quality srs and studs from top to bottom i see maybe two weak weight classes and one may not be so weak ,the Hvy class is suspect and i see the 180s being a bit weak the lighter classes are tough the middleweights are loaded and there are a few bigger studs for sure the best match may be at 220 with two returning champs but im not sure anyone will see it that way and wherever Lampe goes all eyes will follow he could be the upset maker ,i heard Jayce was injured last year duiring their match but it was very entertaining and close ,I see no challengers for Brock or Boston but each other except possibly Faust if they are the same weight and the same for Kevin and Stephen ,Polly and Hamilton will probably be a match to watch Hiero and Canter or Lane Jones if they are all at 170 could be interesting ,If i were Chamberle i would go 182 or whatever that class is he can win there just as easy and without the stress of cutting he may be even better ,i would like to see him win he also wrestled Jude very well last year and he has worked hard for years ,He and Fauz both deserve titles from what i have seen over the years .

    Camps vs. tournaments?

Seems like a great place hoosierdad they cover nutrition as well as cross training and the myofascial stretching made popular by Parillo and some of the other gurus back in the 80s when done correctly it is anything but comfortable as they tried to make it appear im not sure rolling on some cushions achieves its true purpose but i guess that is why it was called deep myofascial stretching back then "it hurts like Heck,It may be or could be a perfect training atmosphere i prefer a bit more powerlifting type room but seeing women hitting cleans and working on the tires is impressive .i wish i were in the area i would definatly take my kids there ,if it doesnt' cost an arm and a leg .

We will be located near Florence Ky and being a work in progress there will be quite a few people involved as far as coaching ,training and scheduling,. Our goal and hopefully the goal of everyone who participates is to bring together not just the best kids but the most highly motivated kids in the area as well as outside the area should they choose to come .We are looking for nothing but serious athletes and parents who are serious about their childrens success . We are hoping to instill the qualities and discipline in our members and participants that will help them become great at whatever sport or whatever endeavors they choose in life .There will be many aspects of the sport not usually covered or as extensively covered in most school team settings .And there will be many different types of guest trainers and Speakers that will cover aspects of sports that are rarely discussed on most teams . We have a great core group of wrestlers to start with covering most of the weights from Jr High up and we are looking forward to working with some youth wrestlers if they are serious and can show they have the ability to maintain the focus needed in the setting we are trying to create ,that being the best room possible for creating Champions . We have wrestlers from across the state already committed or showing interest in participating when we get things up and running and we have faith that there will be no other room.club or team like it in the State . For more info PM KY Crush, Thanks
