I saw Frankrone and he's more compact bt he's flat put together..... Frankrone just lost to another Kentucky boy that is on very few radars but has been on mine since December. Ben Leaton out of Oldham County so yep 182's are going to be battles with different types of wrestlers and contrasts in styles. The beasts vs Mikey Smith and Courtney all awesome wrestlers and will be worth the price of admission to the Horsepark. And yes Eli is on a mission to get it done as well and very well could take it all.

MAtch of the day will be Turner and Ryder and if the Jones go at it again they battle !!!! You will look at Gage and not be intimidated but trust me he's strong and good and Braden looks like a Greek god and has skills !! Eli is just a machine though.

170 Ryder and Turner in the finals with the consolation going to pate over savage. 182 Matthews and Braden Jones in the finals with gage Jones and Haywood in the consolation with gage winning. 195 don't see anyone stopping Trigg. And I'll go out on a limb and say Atm wins the 220 and no one takes hIm to the second.

they know each other like teammates they even warm up Alike which is why I think their matches are so close.

Yes it will be a tough tourney I'm looking forward to watching your kids against alot of the region 6 guys and of course all the other teams but the 170's and 182 are going to have some very good semi finals matches and maybe even earlier . Alot of good lighter weight matches as well ! I just follow the 170's - 195's so close

yes meiman has a counter style that can drive 95% of wrestlers mad lol but it's very effective against guys in his weight class. He doesn't make mistakes often and wears you down but alot of his matches are 4-3 .. 3-2 type matches ... I'm like you I love the guys that just go at it no holds barred those 14-12 matches with a near fall by each guy are fun to watch !

Hicks has had some great matches with meiman but personally I just think they know each other so well. I do like hicks as a kid but I'm saying he doesn't touch Turner at regional and state placement is unlikely for hicks but he will win a couple of matches. I like the rankings he posted above except to me Turner is the sleeper to win it all. I'm still picking meiman though as the fav.

I know Boone County will be there and I overheard a Bourban County team member saying they will be there. This tournament is always hard to find info on for some reason I remember that over the last couple of years... results and whose in it etc ? Just going off team schedules looks like Anderson County, Boyle County and Danville and MCcreary Central and Perry County Central, Tates Creek, Madison Southern and Western Hills will be there along with Franklin County of course.. If I get a chance I'll look up more

Last year was the amazing Epic Stephen Myers vs Kevin Cooper match which it may be quite a few years before 2 guys with that much talent and championships ever enter the circle again but........... brings a fun debate as to whom we'd like to see wrestle this year in Region 6 . There are a few matches I'd like to see and would love your opinions ! My number 1 would be... Eli Matthews (182) vs Trevor Thompson (195) a battle of the beasts and guys that are both technically sound but are bulls on the match and would be very fun to watch. #2 Braden Jones (182) vs Johnny Meiman (170) Braden got hurt last year at the region tourney and never had a chance to wrestle Meiman all season even though they were 2 of the best 170's. A battle between 2 warriors and 2 very strong kids that are both very classy. . #3 Clay Brown (145) (Walton) vs Seasn Fausz (138) CC Fausz would probably win here but these guys can flat scramble and would be fun to watch ! #4 Elijah Miller Scott (195) vs Eli Matthews (182) CC The battle of Eli's hmm sounds like a movie no wait that was The Book of Eli lol.. Great movie BTW and the match would be very good as well . Who would you like to see ?

I do it for a fun hobby and the love of the sport . I could do it just for my nephew or friends of his etc but there wasn't alot of info about region 6 so I learned it and it makes those long tournaments more enjoyable when you know so many kids that you've read about etc.

Lol unless Turner is out for longer than anticipated or they are just switching places even I don't know what would be going on ? Eli doesn't look like he's that heavy but guessing between 175-180 but I'll admit it would be a shock to me if they did switch but more importantly hope Dustin is ok... If it's something else I'm lost and I'll openly admit it.

I agree it looks like my answer says that only those 3 schools don't load there info on track but it's a fact alot don't ! Trinity, St X and many others do not so guess it's just not a big deal to some teams. It's just alot easier on us guys that do the rankings for the teams that do so I wish all would but I usually find the info via tourneys listed on Baumspage, Yappi, Track, Indianamat, Kap just to name a few.
