Would say that Christian county forfeited like 5 weight classes. And I didn't see Austin, polley nor, Odoms anywhere. Prolly gonna be a rough season them and they had nothing but young kids that got pounded. Only stud they had was matlock and he looked good.

2004-119lb weight class. Had alot of state champs to come out of this class and multiple placers Courtney 4 timer Scott- 2 timer Thunamen 4 time 3 place I believe. Perry won it that year I believe. Thyself seven state championships outta one weight class.

I would agree best ever in ky would have to go to Willie ennels. He would dismantle and this is my opinion any state champ any year in his respective weight class. And possible alot of additional weight classes. And just to say the has been other wrestlers to win state as a freshman. Even in 8th grade and there will prolly be some that win in 7 th grade down the road. That don't make ya the best knable and Carr where 4 timers and they ar not my top pick carr is right up there but not my number one.

Oh and just to clear this up Polley will be attendening Christian county next year not union.

I was stating the historic match up of Cooper vs metzker. Not Brock and ruchell. Lol. I was using them as the vest kids in two weight classes got together and banged it out at state to see who the better kid was. By far not a historic match ever.

I personally would love to see myers Cooper match up. That's what it's about, just like the Ervin and ruchell match. Beat the best to say u are the best. As far as best match possibly but it would be hard to top the epic. Scott Cooper vs Luke metzkers match.

Size difference between the kids. Look at Caleb he was big but Brock won't be that big. And if myers is going to wrestle in college he will prolly cut down this year to his real weight class unfortunate he couldn't this year, it would have been fireworks between him and fahy. I hope Brock does it cause it's really showing the growth of western ky wrestling. Watch out for these teams

Great venue. Didn't like that u had to walk 2 miles to get down to the floor. And Friday needs 8 mats get those first rounds over. Then got to six mats on sat. 4 mats for the semis Is a must it worked so well before. Also needs to fid a way to cover up the floor the mats are on. And food is still out rageous.

And there is a big different between wrestling and other sports when it comes safety o the kids since there is weight classes.

This would hurt our growth. Ky has grown so much due to elementary and middle school programs . Keep it as it is quit messing. Things up
