Tighe Harrod (160 lbs) finishes the season 30-9 and ranked #20. Pre-season he was unranked, so though it hurts now, it was a great season.

It comes down to $. NBC paid BILLIONS to broadcast the Olympics and wrestling doesn't get ratings. Heck I had trouble finding it on the channels last time. They will add golf and rugby, both of which have athletes plastered with endorsements. There are no adverts on wrestling singlets. And also not many eyes on the TV when wrestling is broadcast.

Are twist ties hard to use? Cuz 75% of my family does not use them when they re-close the bags.

Biggest match of Tighe's life coming up. Win and he goes to state. Lose and his wrestling career is over. Nerve wracking.

Tighe won his match tonight by pin. He's in the quarterfinals. He just needs to win one match tomorrow and he will qualify for the state tournament.

He tweeted to me that he can't come to tournaments because they all last until 1 am because "they're so unorganized." He also said you guys do NOTHING to promote wrestling. You buncha slackers LOL!

My teenagers think that the TV show Workaholics is hilarious. I don't think it is funny at all. I guess I am old.

I got home from Louisville at 5:30 am this morning, slept 6 hours, and now heading back to Louisville for pole vault practice!

Been going to Thai Smile for 10+ years, and just got my first bad meal. Bummed. I thought they were above that. I should've known when I went in and the entire staff was playing iPhone games :-( I guess 1 bad meal in 10 years isn't bad.

Big weekend starting now! Wrestling all day Saturday- last regular season tournament ever. In the last 8 years I have spent approximately 950 hours sitting on bleachers watching kids wrestle. Born Cross Eyed in Louisville at Diamonds (Highlands) at 10 pm. Come down and see me!

The last week of the season usually sees a lot of the top guys resting and healing.

Born Cross Eyed THIS SATURDAY at Diamonds in the Highlands. This is a GREAT venue. Plenty of room, nice pool tables, restaurant, plenty of parking. Cmon down!
