How does the rule book determine "full pressure" and has there been a clear distinction sent to all officials on how to properly make that call? I have seen several coaches yelling at officials about this very rule this year whenever their kid would hit a slide-by, arm drag, etc and gain standing back control and the other kid would touch the mat. I have seen the call made both ways with the same scenarios. Dont think that all of our officials are on the same page with this. You can touch a hand to the mat and not have that much weight on it - certainly not "full pressure" I'm not a big fan of this rule

You have overlooked Calloway's hopeful at 182. I believe you have the Wilson kid identified as Christian in your rankings. He is a Calloway kid that hasn't lost to anyone in the region yet at 182.

So if Austin goes to 106...how does that shake up the rankings there?

Anybody going to attempt the top to bottom rankings? It is still early and I know that everybody hasn't seen everybody yet. But by now most people have decided what weight class they will be at and have got to see some competition. But if the season were to end now who would be the Region 1 representatives going to Lexington? Just to agree 145 is beastly. Also, in looking at the region, I believe there will be more than 2 or 3 returning state qualifiers from last season that might not make top 4 this year.

I am sure Sahms scored bonus points on his way to the finals...not to mention the placer points. How many spots did it drop Ft. Campbell?

I was there and was watching the match. Sahms appeared to be in control of the match and things were getting a bit chippy. I feel Sahms should have displayed more composure instead of retaliating on the out of bounds incident. He should have known that the officials would penalize the person retaliating. As for Gilkey - wasn't this match and the outcome eerily similiar to the region finals last year? Looks like he has a talent for getting people to lose their cool. I would anticipate that the officials will start watching him a lot closer and give him zero tolerance. Have to wonder if it had any effect on the outcome of the tournament? If I understand things correctly an ejected competitor loses all team points scored for the day. I see Caldwell won the tournament. Did the Sahms DQ help out?

Calloway has been out all week. Caldwell too.

Actually, the 189 that started the season for Calloway should be ranked. His name is Austin Alexander. However, he is no longer with the team - or hasn't been since Christmas. The kid was a beast just didn't have the discipline, drive, or desire to stick with it.

Potts should be wrestling this week. He was down to 290 Saturday. Calloway is going to West Frankfort (IL) this weekend and he should make his debut there.

One chose not to wrestle...the other was disciplinary actions

(130) Keaton Starks and (215) Michael Treadway from Calloway can be removed from the rankings. Neither one of them will be wrestling this season.

Anybody figure out the best way to get those things to print at a legible size. I am trying to get the whole bracket with the championship and consolation trees.

Looked like everyone was dodging Ervin. Shaw from moved up and Lynch did as well.

I've seen him wrestle a handful of matches and just don't know if he can do it. I think if Shaw gets past Trice Buckman has his hands full to even make the finals.

I don't know what Pitcher weighed in at but the Calloway kid made weighed 193.

The 215 from Calloway is a beast at times and could take Payne. He beat the Pitcher kid this weekend.
